Shake Shake Overview

Shake Shake is a multiplayer dice game from SimplePlay, part of the SA Gaming Group, released on 1 May 2023. SimplePlay lists it among its table games and describes it as a popular carnival game from the Philippines: two dice are shaken in a leather cup, and players predict which group the sum of the two dice will fall into. It is not a slot, so there are no reels, paylines or bonus rounds, and the studio does not publish an RTP, volatility or maximum win for it.

How to Play

A cartoon host with a “Lucky” shirt runs the table at a fairground stall, with a carousel and circus tents behind him. When the message “Please Place Your Bet” appears, a short countdown starts and you choose one or more of three boxes:

• Blue – 4, 5, 9 or 10: pays 1.5:1
• Green – 6, 7 or 8: pays 1.2:1
• Red – 2, 3, 11 or 12: pays 4.8:1

With two fair dice, 14 of the 36 possible combinations fall in the blue group, 16 in the green group and only 6 in the red group, which explains why red pays the most. Chips are placed with a single click, the x2 button doubles the current bet, and the tick and cross buttons confirm or cancel it.

Statistics and Tables

Every table shows a road of recent results in the colours of the three groups, together with the dice behind the latest rolls. A flag marked “50” gives the share of each group over the last 50 rounds, and two short lists show the hot and cold sums of the moment. In the lobby we saw a Casual table with limits of 1 to 100 and a Novice table with 2 to 200, each with a different host and its own player count.

Social Touches

SimplePlay highlights real-time chip animation: the bets of every player appear on everyone’s table, so the stall feels busy even when you play alone. Voice acting in several languages and the carnival artwork add to the fairground mood.

What the Odds Mean

The quoted odds are paid on top of the stake. A winning bet of 10 on the green box therefore returns 22 in total, the same bet on blue returns 25, and a correct call on red returns 58. Because the green group covers the most common sums, it is the steadiest choice, while red suits players who want a bigger return from a single roll. The counters in each box show how many players have bet on it and how much is on the table, together with the share of the total in percent.

The game also shows a round ID in the corner of the table, and the version number of the client is displayed at the bottom right, which helps when you contact support about a specific roll.
