Heist for the Golden Nuggets

Heist for the Golden Nuggets Overview

Heist for the Golden Nuggets is a Wild West slot from Pragmatic Play, released on 12 June 2023. A gang of outlaws plans a robbery in a wooden saloon, and the reels sit in front of a bar with a staircase behind it. The game uses 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 paylines, with a 96% RTP (lower versions exist), high volatility and a maximum win of 5,000x. Stakes run from 0.20 to 100.

The Paytable

All symbols pay from left to right on adjacent reels. At a bet of €100 the game rules show:

• the bearded outlaw in the brown hat and the WILD: €2,000 / €1,000 / €500 for 5 / 4 / 3;
• the moustached gunslinger: €500 / €400 / €200;
• the rifleman in the green hat: €400 / €200 / €100;
• the cowgirl: €300 / €100 / €50;
• the outlaw in the blue hat: €250 / €75 / €50;
• A and K: €200 / €50 / €30; Q and J: €100 / €40 / €20.

So a five-of-a-kind line with the best symbol returns 20x the bet, and even three of the lowest royals return 0.2x. The steep drop between four and five of the top outlaw (€1,000 to €2,000) is where the wild multipliers below make the biggest difference.

Wild Multipliers

The WILD is a gold sheriff’s badge with crossed pistols. It substitutes for every symbol except the Golden Nugget and the free spins special money symbols. When 2, 3, 4 or 5 wilds take part in the same winning line, that win is multiplied by x2, x4, x8 or x16.

Our Wins

The opening screen shows the game at a €2.00 bet with a €100,000 demo balance; the wins below were played at €100, the top of the listed stake range, so every figure is easy to read as a multiple of the bet.

• €240 – line 6 paid €50, with more lines adding up.
• €1,000 (10x) – a wild on the first reel helped line 18 pay €500.
• €1,500 (15x) – a Big Win, with line 12 alone paying €500.

Golden Nuggets

Pragmatic Play’s own description adds the second half of the game: instant cash prizes that can be triggered at random by landing the Golden Nuggets. That is the other symbol the wild cannot replace. The nuggets carry the money, so a spin can pay even when no payline lines up.

Free Spins and the Most Wanted

In the free spins round one special symbol is declared the most wanted, and it awards wins each time it appears on the reels. Golden Nuggets landed during the round are collected automatically, which gives several ways to win on the same spin. SlotCatalog also lists extra prepaid wilds as a feature. The paytable screen we captured is page 1 of 6, so the full feature rules sit further inside the game’s help pages.

Who It Is For

This is a 20-line Pragmatic slot built around two ideas: stacking wilds on a line and collecting nuggets. Two wilds double a win, five multiply it by 16, and that is where the 5,000x ceiling comes into reach.
