Mighty Miner OverviewMighty Miner is a six-reel video slot from SimplePlay, released on 11 April 2024. According to the studio it is its first SuperReels slot: on every spin each reel shows between 2 and 7 symbols, so the number of ways changes from spin to spin – from 64 up to 117,649. SimplePlay publishes an RTP of 96.31% and rates the volatility as Very High. A maximum win is not published. The story is a small cartoon: an old miner finds a golden pickaxe deep in a mine, his muscles swell until his shirt bursts, and the pickaxe turns into a golden hammer that cracks gold out of the rock. On the reels this becomes a game of stone blocks, dynamite wilds and hammer scatters, with a Buy Free Game option on the left. Down in the MineThe reels sit inside a timber mine frame, with rails, lanterns and a cart full of gold nuggets on the left. The muscular miner in his cowboy hat stands to the right of the grid, a pick over his shoulder. Above the reels a counter shows the number of ways on the current spin, and a jackpot panel with Major, Minor and Mini amounts hangs in the top right corner. In our session the ways counter read 1,296, 1,440, 1,728, 2,160 and 2,700 on different spins – a good picture of how much the reel heights move. The maximum 117,649 is reached only when all six reels show seven symbols at once. How the Bet WorksThe game rules state that every spin costs 100 times the coin value times the chosen bet. We played with a coin of 0.01 and a bet level of 10, which gave a total bet of 10.00. The paytable is given in coins and is multiplied by the coin and the bet, so at our stake every paytable number is worth one tenth of itself. Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel, and each symbol can be used only once per winning combination. Only the highest win on each combination is paid, and wins on different combinations are added together. The scatter is the only symbol the rules exclude from this left-to-right rule. The PaytableThe premium symbols are blocks of ore. The gold block is the top symbol and pays 750 coins for six, 300 for five, 200 for four and 75 for three. The silver block pays 300 for six, the orange ore 200, the purple crystal 150, and the brown and sandstone blocks 150 each. The card ranks are carved into grey stone tiles: A, K and Q pay 100 coins for six, while J and 10 pay 50. At our 10.00 stake, six gold blocks on a single way return 75.00 – 7.5 times the bet – and a spin with many ways can pay the same combination several times over. Dynamite Wilds with MultipliersThe wild is a bundle of dynamite, and it carries a multiplier. We saw it with x2 and x3 labels, and in one spin both landed side by side on the same reels. The message bar spells out the effect: one of our wins was shown as “pays 1.00 X 2 (X6)” – three A symbols worth 1.00, doubled by the wild and paid on six ways. The dynamite made the difference in our biggest base-game spins. A win of 22.00 came with an x2 and an x3 wild together, 60.00 came from stacked silver blocks with an x2 wild, and 72.00 from K symbols spread over several reels with another x2 wild – 7.2 times the stake. Golden Hammer Scatters and the Free GameThe scatter is the golden hammer from the story, shown on a crackling blue background. On the spin after our purchase, four hammers landed across the grid and the message bar announced “win Free Game Feature”. Our screenshots do not show the number of free spins awarded, so we only report the trigger we saw. The free game is also for sale. The Buy Free Game sign on the left shows a price of 500, and a confirmation window opens before the purchase. With our 10.00 stake the bet field then showed 500.00, so the feature costs 50 times the total bet and guarantees the free spins on the next spin. The Jackpot PanelThe panel in the top right showed Major 139,539, Minor 2,938 and Mini 310 during our session. The amounts did not change while we played, and the screens we saw do not explain how the jackpots are won, so we can only report that they are part of the game. Who Will Enjoy ItMighty Miner suits players who like changing reel heights and a lot of ways on every spin. The dynamite multipliers keep the base game lively, and the buy option lets you skip straight to the bonus. The Very High volatility rating is worth taking seriously, though: long quiet stretches are part of the design, and the buy price of 50 times the bet is a large single stake. The controls are simple. The coin value and the bet level sit at the bottom left, the ways total next to them, and the Max Bet, spin and Auto Play buttons on the right. The game runs in the browser on desktop and mobile. The demo on this page is SimplePlay’s own and loads without registration, so you can watch the ways counter change and test the dynamite wilds before playing for real money. Our VerdictMighty Miner is a solid first SuperReels title from SimplePlay. It combines the up to 117,649 ways with multiplier wilds and a clear buy option, all inside a cheerful cartoon mine. With an RTP of 96.31% and very high volatility, it rewards patience and a stake that can ride out the dry spells. Where to Play Mighty MinerYou can try this game on Casino007 Online Casino.
