How we rate games
Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

Hearts Desire OverviewHearts Desire is a Valentine-themed fruit slot from Betsoft, live since 26 January 2023 according to the studio. Betsoft lists 5 reels, 3 rows and 30 paylines, a 96.13% RTP, high volatility, a hit rate of 22.36% and a maximum win of 1,787x. SlotCatalog gives stakes from 0.30 to 120. The reels are full of classic fruit – cherries, grapes, oranges, watermelons, bananas and red 7s – floating on a pink background of glass hearts. Four JackpotsFour fixed prizes run across the top of the screen. At a bet of 1.80 they read:
Betsoft explains how they are reached: the Progressive Jackpot Feature is linked with selected other Betsoft games and triggers at random after the reels stop. The chance rises with the bet, and a trigger gives one spin of a progressive reel that lands on Mini, Minor, Major or Mega. Golden Hearts and Free SpinsThe gold heart symbols carry a cash value; in our screenshots each showed 1.80, equal to the bet. When 5 hearts landed together – three stacked on reel 2 and more on reel 4 – the message bar counted the 5 hearts and announced “AWARD 5 FREE SPINS!” while the last reel was still spinning. Betsoft’s rules match: 5 or more scatters award 5 free spins, and the values on all scatters are added to a cumulative meter before the spins begin. During free spins a pink crystal Special Scatter appears, with multipliers of up to 5x. Stacked Mystery SymbolsEach reel also carries stacked mystery positions. Before every spin they turn into one random symbol, the same one on all reels, so whole blocks of one fruit can drop in together. The mystery can become any symbol except the Special Scatter and the wild. A Base-Game WinCherries on the first three reels paid 0.60, a third of the bet, with a single heart worth 1.80 sitting on reel 1 at the same time.
