I Love Greece Overview

I Love Greece is a summer holiday slot from Zeus Play, released on 29 June 2024. It plays on 5 reels and 4 rows with 100 fixed paylines, and its free spins can reach up to 100 spins.

The studio’s own game page gives an RTP of 96.1% and medium volatility; SlotCatalog lists 96% and low volatility, with bets from 0.10 to 20. No maximum win is published. The numbers below come from our own demo session, played at a bet of $20.00.

Postcard from the Islands

The reels sit in a gold frame with a Greek key pattern, hung with blue evil-eye charms, under a bright summer sky. On the left a cat sleeps in front of a white house with blue shutters and pink bougainvillea; on the right a white chapel with a blue dome looks out over the sea.

The symbols are a Greek holiday in miniature: a bouzouki on a taverna chair, a bottle of ouzo with a glass, an iced frappé, a gyros wrap and the card ranks A, K, Q and J in carved lettering. The Wild is an old fisherman with a captain’s cap and a pipe, and a cheerful donkey is the scatter.

The Paytable

At a $20 bet the paytable shows these values for five, four and three of a kind:

  • Bouzouki and chair: $200 / $60 / $14 – the top prize is 10x the bet;
  • Ouzo bottle: $120 / $40 / $12;
  • Frappé and gyros: $24 / $8 / $4;
  • A and K: $10 / $6 / $2;
  • Q: $6 / $4 / $2.

These are single-line values, and with 100 paylines the same symbols usually pay on many lines at once. That is why the results on screen are often much larger than the table suggests.

The paylines page draws all hundred patterns across the 5x4 grid. On a layout this dense, three matching symbols from the left edge almost always sit on several lines, and a Wild in the middle of the reels joins even more of them. The game therefore produces frequent small wins, each made of many line payouts added together.

Stacked Symbols

SlotCatalog lists stacked symbols among the features, and our captures show them often. In one spin the whole fifth reel was filled with four frappés; in another the first reel carried a column of three frappés and the fifth a column of three Qs. On a 4-row grid with 100 lines, a full stack on the early reels can connect with many lines at once, which is where most of the bigger base-game wins come from.

The ouzo bottles behaved the same way. Our best base-game result came from bottles stacked down the first two reels, with the fisherman Wild completing the lines on the third reel.

What the Base Game Did

Three results from our session show how this works in practice:

  • gyros wraps with a Wild on the second reel paid $34.00 (1.7x);
  • three bouzoukis across the top of the first three reels, with J symbols below them, paid $50.00 (2.5x);
  • ouzo bottles stacked on the first two reels, joined by a Wild on reel 3, paid $256.00 (12.8x) – our best base-game win.

The best result came from one of the higher symbols meeting a Wild on a busy part of the grid, exactly where the 100 lines overlap the most.

The Free Spins

Three donkey scatters anywhere on the reels triggered the feature – in our capture they landed at the top of reels 1 and 4 and in the middle of reel 3 – and the game awarded 10 free spins. The round plays under a purple sunset sky with a Bonus Game banner and a counter of the spins left.

The free spins bring a special version of the Wild: the fisherman appears as a giant figure covering the whole third reel. In our round, with five free spins left, the full-reel Wild joined bouzoukis and chairs from the first two reels and paid $304.00 – 15.2x the bet from a single spin.

Two Kinds of Wild

In the base game the fisherman is an ordinary single-position Wild. He substitutes for the paying symbols wherever he lands, and in our captures he appeared on reels 2 and 3, the positions that touch the most paylines.

In the free spins he returns in two forms at once. A small Wild still lands on the other reels – our capture shows one at the top of reel 2 – while the giant fisherman fills the whole of reel 3. With a full Wild reel in the centre of the grid, any matching symbols on the first two reels connect across dozens of lines, which explains how a spin of mid-value symbols reached 15x.

Controls and Display

The control bar at the bottom shows the bet and the credit in dollars, the last win in the centre and a round spin button on the right. Every win is announced in large gold figures in the middle of the reels, and the paytable and paylines pages open from the menu, with each symbol’s value shown in cash for the current bet.

What the Session Did

The demo balance moved between roughly $3,894 and $4,892 across our captures. The base game gave regular small wins, while the biggest single result came from the full-reel Wild in the free spins. SlotCatalog notes that the free spins can reach up to 100 spins, so a lucky round can run much longer than our ten.

The Numbers to Keep in Mind

A 96.1% RTP is in line with the market average. The two sources disagree on volatility, low or medium, and our session fits either reading: many small wins and a few larger ones, with nothing extreme. No maximum win is published for the game.

Who Should Play It

I Love Greece suits players who want a relaxed, sunny slot with lots of small wins. The 100 lines keep something happening on most spins, and the full-reel Wild gives the free spins their punch.
