Clawsy Collector Overview

Clawsy Collector is a 6x5 cascading all-scatter game from Bullshark Games, released through the Hacksaw Gaming network. Wins are formed by 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid, the RTP is 96.27%, volatility is medium-high and the maximum win is 15,000x the bet – reachable, the rulebook notes, in all game modes.

What makes it unusual is that the game counts symbols as well as paying for them, and hitting counting milestones unlocks Boosters mid-spin. All figures below come from the in-game rulebook and demo play at €5.00 and €250.00.

Theme and Graphics

The setting is a shallow reef in bright daylight: green weed, a sandy bottom, rising bubbles and a fishing boat moored at the surface. A dapper orange crab stands to the left of the grid in a top hat, monocle and bow tie, waving his claw when a win lands.

The symbols are beachcombing finds – an anchor, a rolled map, a message in a bottle, a pink clam shell and a treasure chest – above card letters in seaweed green and coral. A rusted oil drum with a recycling label sits on the right, which is a quiet joke the art never draws attention to.

Above the grid runs the piece of interface that matters most: a progress bar reading 0/50 with markers at 30, 40 and 50, and three Booster icons sitting above it.

The Symbol Counter and the Grid Boosters

Every winning symbol in a spin is counted, and the total unlocks Boosters at three milestones:

30–39 symbols gives one random Booster from Remove Low Symbols or Add Wild Symbols. 40–49 symbols gives two Boosters, now including Add Global Multiplier. 50 or more gives all three.

The order of application is fixed: Add Global Multiplier, then Remove Low Symbols, then Add Wild Symbols. And here is the part that makes long spins possible – once the Boosters are applied, the counter resets and starts again immediately, so a single spin can cross the 30-symbol line several times over.

What Each Booster Does

Add Global Multiplier adds a random value to the running multiplier. The possible values are 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x and 100x, and it can only be awarded when two or three Boosters land at the same time – so the 40-symbol milestone is the real threshold in this game.

Remove Low Symbols strips every low-paying symbol off the grid; the high payers cascade down and only high payers drop into the gaps. Scatters stay where they are.

Add Wild Symbols drops between 1 and 30 wilds onto random positions. Wilds cannot land on existing wilds or scatters, and they never arrive on an ordinary drop – the Booster is the only way they enter the game.

The Global Multiplier

The multiplier starts at 1x and applies to every win. In the base game it resets with each new spin, which keeps ordinary spins honest.

In the bonus rounds it does not reset at all until the feature ends, so it accumulates across the whole round. That single rule change is the difference between a good base-game spin and a bonus round that can approach the 15,000x ceiling.

Two Bonus Games

SHELL SEEKER is triggered by 3 scatters and gives 10 free spins. The Global Multiplier becomes progressive, the symbol counting is progressive across spins, and every spin that finishes with at least 50 collected symbols adds +1 free spin.

MASTER COLLECTOR needs 4 scatters and gives 12 free spins under the same rules, with one addition: the symbol counter always starts at 10, so every spin begins a fifth of the way to the first Booster.

Scatters can only land in the base game, so once you are inside a round, retriggers come from the symbol counter rather than from more scatters – an elegant piece of design that keeps the feature focused on one mechanic.

Four Ways to Buy In

The buy menu is unusually deep, with four priced options at a €5.00 bet:

BonusHunt FeatureSpins at €15.00 (3x) makes each spin five times more likely to trigger a bonus. Snappy Spin FeatureSpins at €250.00 (50x) starts the symbol count at 30, guaranteeing at least one Grid Booster every spin. Shell Seeker costs €500.00 (100x) and Master Collector €1,250.00 (250x).

All four are labelled volatility: very high, including the cheap one. The two FeatureSpins options stay active and charge on every spin until you disable them, which the confirmation dialog states plainly.

The Pay Table

Payouts are banded by how many symbols you collect. At a €5.00 bet the treasure chest – the best symbol – pays 25.00 for ten, 125.00 for 13–14, 500.00 for 17–18, 1,000.00 for 19 or more and 5,000.00 for 26 or more, which is 1,000x the bet before the Global Multiplier touches it.

Beneath it the pink shell tops out at 750.00 for 19+, the bottle at 600.00, the map at 500.00 and the anchor at 400.00. The card letters are far behind: 150.00 for nineteen tens, and 1.00 – a fifth of the stake – for the minimum eight.

Who Should Play It

Clawsy Collector suits players who like cascading games with a visible progress mechanic – the counter above the grid gives every spin a shape, and you can see a big result building rather than having it arrive unannounced.

It is not a game for small, steady returns. Eight matching symbols pay a fraction of the stake, the wilds only arrive through Boosters, and the real money sits behind a 40-symbol milestone. Bring patience, or bring the buy menu.
