Shaker Club

Shaker Club Overview

Shaker Club is a cocktail-bar slot from Yggdrasil. The studio’s own game page gives the release date as 8 August 2023 (SlotCatalog lists 28 July 2023). It runs on five reels and three rows with 243 ways to win, and everything revolves around one idea: a win multiplier that sits in a golden cocktail shaker beside the reels and can reach x250.

Yggdrasil publishes a 96% RTP (SlotCatalog notes lower builds of 94% and 90% for casinos), high volatility, a hit frequency of 34.18% and a top prize of 10,000x the bet – €1,000,000 at the maximum stake. Bets run from €0.20 to €100 per spin.

The Bar and the Symbols

The reels hang inside a neon-lit bar, with rows of bottles on the shelves behind and silhouettes of guests talking in the background. The premium symbols are cocktails – an orange sunrise, a red punch, a blue lagoon and a green mojito – and the lower tier is made of neon card suits: hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds glowing in red, blue, green and orange.

The Wild is the bartender herself, holding a shaker and marked WILD. She lands on reels 2 to 5 only, substitutes for every paying symbol and has no value of her own; our base-game screenshot shows her in the middle of reel 3.

The Shaker Multiplier

The golden shaker on the left carries a random multiplier on every base-game spin, applied to the total win of that spin. Most of the time it shows x1, as in our screenshots. There are no cascades, so each spin is settled in one go.

One of our base-game spins paid €30.00 for orange cocktails running across the first four reels – a plain x1 result, but the kind of hit that becomes large when the shaker lands on a higher value.

The Multiplier Ladder

The multiplier moves along a fixed ladder of fifteen steps:

• x1, x3, x5, x7, x10, x15, x20, x25 in the lower half,
• x50, x75, x100, x125, x150, x200, x250 above it.

The same ladder drives both the random base-game multiplier and the free spins, which is why the jump from x25 to x50 matters so much in the bonus.

Triggering the Free Spins

The golden shaker scatter, marked FREE SPINS, triggers the bonus. Three, four or five scatters award 8 free spins with a starting multiplier of x3, x10 or x25. One of our screenshots shows three scatters on reels 1, 2 and 4, and the game confirmed: “You have won 8 free spins with x3 starting multiplier”.

Gamble for a Higher Start

Before the round starts, a panel shows the three possible starting multipliers with a Start button and a Gamble button. With x3 or x10 you can risk the start for a chance at a higher one. x25 is the ceiling, so a player who already starts there has nothing to gamble for.

The Climbing Multiplier

During the free spins the shaker is replaced by a three-step view of the ladder on the left. In our round it started at x3 with x5 and x7 waiting above it; in another screenshot it had already reached x10, with x15 and x20 next in line. The multiplier moves up one step after every free spin, and each scatter landing on reels 2 or 4 pushes it up one more.

The ladder makes the value of a good start easy to see. Starting at x25, eight spins climb exactly to x250 on the final spin. From x3 without any scatter help, the last spin is played at x50; from x10, at x125.

Buying the Feature

The Buy Bonus menu offers two options, both for 8 free spins. At a bet of €2.00 the random-start version cost €200.00 (100x), and the version with the maximum starting multiplier cost €1,200.00 (600x). The buy is not available in every jurisdiction.

Who It Is For

Shaker Club suits players who like a simple 243-ways grid with one big variable on top. The base game is quiet most of the time, but the shaker can multiply any spin, and the free spins become a race up the ladder where every spin is worth more than the last.
