Mighty Hot™: Congo is a jungle-themed video slot from VoltEnt (Wazdan), scheduled for release on 17 December 2026. It is the newest member of the Mighty Hot family and swaps the fruit-machine look for a misty African rainforest with an erupting volcano behind the reels. A Volcano Over The Rainforest

The background shows tall trees, ferns and a smoking volcano in the distance, and the reel frame is made of carved wood with a spinning prize wheel fixed on top. The symbols are all animals and carved pieces of the region: a pangolin, a baobab tree, a tribal mask, a jaguar, a gorilla, a grey parrot, a mandrill, an antelope and an elephant. On the intro screen a gorilla, an elephant and a leopard stand around a green Buy Feature button, which already tells you where the game wants to take you.

The layout is wide and low, so every spin shows eighteen symbols at once. The base game is calm and easy to read, with no clutter around the reels. The only extra elements are the Chance Level panel on the left and the wheel above the reels, and both of them matter for the main idea of the game.

Walls Of Matching Symbols

Instead of chasing long chains of different symbols, Mighty Hot™: Congo rewards walls, which are whole reels filled with the same symbol. A wall is the core of the game: it pays on its own, and it is also the key that opens the bonus. When walls appear on several reels, the symbol win can be lifted by a Total Win Multiplier of up to 15x, which is shown on the wheel above the reels. The wheel rotates through values such as x2, x3, x5, x6, x7 and x14.

Because of this design, wins arrive in two ways. Small line wins come from short combinations, as in the pangolin win of 1.50 on a 2.00 stake in our test, while the real action starts when the same animal lands on the whole of a reel and the wall grows from there.

Chance Level

The panel on the left side offers Chance Level™, a Wazdan classic. You can leave it off, or switch on x2, x5 or x10. With x2 active, the screen explains that you have a “x2 higher chance of drawing a wall of symbols”, and the total bet doubles from 1.00 to 2.00 in our test. The higher levels raise the chance in the same way and cost more per spin.

This is a useful tool if you want to chase the bonus without buying it. You pay a higher stake on every spin, but walls and the wheel spins that follow them show up more often. Switch it off again whenever you want to go back to the normal stake.

Wheel Spin And Mighty Spins

When a wall lands on 3, 4 or 5 reels, the outer ring of the wheel above the reels starts to spin. During the respins the remaining reels are dark, empty cells.
