How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

God's Party Overview

God's Party is a compact mythology slot from Onlyplay, released on 15 February 2024. The gods of Olympus hold a feast on a 3x3 grid with 5 paylines, framed in gold in front of a temple and a cheering crowd. SlotCatalog lists a 95.16% RTP, medium volatility and a maximum win of 1,000x the bet, with stakes from 0.10 to 100.

A Small Grid With Three Jackpots

The feature that defines the game hangs on the left of the reels: three jackpot plaques, each marked x9 and each showing one of the party's guests. The x9 is the rule – fill all nine positions of the 3x3 grid with the same character and the matching jackpot is yours. At our 50 USD stake the plaques read:

  • Grand (the golden god with the goblet): 50,000 – 1,000x the bet
  • Major (the golden goddess): 5,000 – 100x
  • Mini (the grey-bearded god in purple): 1,250 – 25x

The Grand jackpot and the published maximum win are the same number: the jackpot is the ceiling of the game.

The 5 Paylines

With three reels and three rows, the five lines are the three rows plus the two diagonals. A symbol needs to appear three times on one of them to pay, so the grid is quick to read: any matching row or corner-to-corner line is a win.

What Our Spins Showed

At a 50 USD stake the screenshots let us work out what each character pays for three on a line:

  • Golden god: three on the bottom row paid 2,500 – 50x the bet
  • Golden goddess: three on the top row and three on a diagonal paid 1,000, which is 500 per line – 10x
  • Grey-bearded god: 800 from four lines, 200 per line – 4x
  • Temple: three on the bottom row paid 100 – 2x
  • Laurel wreath: three on the top row paid 50 – 1x

Reading the Paytable From the Wins

Put side by side, the results form a clear ladder. The golden god is worth five times the goddess, the goddess two and a half times the grey-bearded elder, the elder twice the temple and the temple twice the laurel wreath. The two gold-clad characters stand far above the rest: a single line of three golden gods pays as much as fifty lines of wreaths would.

The same ranking carries into the jackpots. The character worth 50x on a line is the Grand at 1,000x, the 10x goddess is the Major at 100x, and the 4x elder is the Mini at 25x. Since the published maximum win is exactly 1,000x, the Grand jackpot itself is the most a single spin can pay.

So Close to the Mini Jackpot

One of our spins shows exactly how the x9 rule works. The grey-bearded god in purple – the Mini jackpot character – filled eight of the nine positions. The only gap was the top of the middle reel, where a dark vase landed. The spin still paid 800 from the four lines the vase did not break, but the ninth symbol would have added the 1,250 Mini jackpot on top.

Free Spins

The bonus symbol is a golden cornucopia overflowing with fruit and marked FREE SPINS. Three of them – one on each reel – bring up a full-screen celebration in front of the temple: “You won 10 Free Spins”. The same jackpot plaques stay visible during the round.

What the Jackpots Are Worth at Other Stakes

Because the plaques are multiples of the bet, they scale with the stake. At the 0.10 minimum the Grand is worth 100, the Major 10 and the Mini 2.50. At the 100 maximum the Grand reaches 100,000, the Major 10,000 and the Mini 2,500. The multipliers never change – only the amounts.

The Numbers

SlotCatalog's figures for the game are a 95.16% RTP, medium variance, 1,000x maximum win, 3x3 layout and 5 paylines. The listed features are fixed jackpots, free spins and scatter symbols – which matches what the screenshots show. The RTP is on the lower side of the market average, which is the trade-off for a game whose top prize sits in three clearly defined full-screen jackpots.

Graphics and Setting

The characters are painted in a rich, realistic style: the golden god raising his goblet, the goddess in gold, the purple-glowing elder, plus grapes, an amphora and a laurel wreath as the lower symbols. Behind the frame stands a white marble temple under a blue sky, and during the free spin announcement the crowd of celebrating Greeks fills the screen. The controls sit on the right: sound, spin, auto and a MAX BET button.

Who It Is For

God's Party suits players who like small, fast grids with a clear goal. Five lines on a 3x3 layout keep every spin simple, the three full-screen jackpots give the game its tension, and the 1,000x top prize is the Grand jackpot itself. It is a light, medium-volatility game rather than a high-risk one.
