Dancing Joker Overview

Dancing Joker is a 3 Oaks slot – the studio formerly known as Booongo – on a 5×3 grid with 40 lines, with a published 95.71% RTP and medium-high volatility. It was released on 22 April 2025.

It is a classic-symbol game wrapped around a coin collector and four fixed jackpots. All the figures below were read from demo play at a 10.00 bet.

Theme and Graphics

The reels stand on a stage in front of heavy red curtains, lit from below. Drifts of gold coins pile up in the corners and a wall of them rises along the right-hand edge of the screen.

Above the reels sits the cast: the joker in purple and pink motley with a star-topped sceptre, grinning straight out of the screen, flanked by two pink piggy banks in top hats standing on their own heaps of coins. The pigs are not decoration – they are the feature the studio builds this game around. The symbols are pure classic: a red seven, a pink bell, a blue star, a green BAR plate, then grapes, pear, cherry, lemon, orange and plum.

What the Symbols Pay

At the 10.00 bet the red seven pays 20.00 for five, 10.00 for four and 5.00 for three. The bell returns 15.00 for five, the blue star 10.00 and the BAR 7.50.

The fruit is grouped rather than priced individually. Grapes and pear share a line – 5.00 for five of a kind, 2.50 for four, 1.00 for three – and cherry, lemon, orange and plum share another at 4.00, 2.00 and 1.00.

Read those against the stake and the picture is stark: the best symbol in the game pays twice the bet for a full line, and five of the cheapest fruit pays four tenths of it. On the reels alone this game barely pays at all.

That is deliberate. Forty lines at these prices produce a steady trickle of small wins – the captures show 24.00, 25.00, 40.00, 40.50 and 55.00 – while everything of consequence is held back for the coins.

The Four Jackpots

A ladder runs down the left of the reels in four colours: GRAND 5,000.00, MAJOR 500.00, MINOR 100.00 and MINI 50.00.

At the 10.00 bet those are 500x, 50x, 10x and 5x the stake. The GRAND at 500x is two hundred and fifty times what five red sevens pay – which tells you exactly where the game keeps its money.

The Coins and the Jackpot Plates

The feature symbols are large gold coins with cash values stamped on them, and they land directly on the reels among the fruit. The captures show 10.00 and 20.00 coins – one and two times the stake each.

Alongside them come green MINI JACKPOT plates, and one capture has three of them stacked down the middle reel with five coins around them. That board is credited as 280.00 – twenty-eight times the bet, and more than ten times what a full line of sevens would have paid. The jackpots are not drawn on a separate screen or a wheel – they arrive as plates in the grid and are collected like the coins.

The Joker

The joker himself appears on the reels as a burning symbol, larger than the rest and wreathed in flame. In one capture he sits on the centre of the middle reel with a MINI JACKPOT plate to his left; in another he anchors a board of sevens.

The datasheet lists sticky wilds and a cash collector among the features, and the piggy banks overhead are the free-spins trigger – the studio’s own description has the joker staying in place for the duration of the round.

What the Session Produced

The base-game wins were small and frequent, as the pay table promises: 24.00 from a board of blue stars, 25.00 and 40.00 from sevens, 40.50 from a screen of BAR plates and 55.00 from a joker board. Only the coin board broke out of that range, at 280.00.

The balance moved 852.00, 761.00, 679.00, 949.00, 578.00 and 398.50 across the captures. The jump to 949.00 is the coin board landing; everything after it is the slow drift back down.

No Published Maximum

SlotCatalog carries the game but leaves RTP, variance and max win all at N/A, listing only the 40 lines, the 5×3 layout and a stake range of 0.20 to 90.00. The 95.71% figure comes from the operator, and we have not filled in the ceiling: the GRAND is 500x, and nothing in the captured session came near it.

The Interface

3 Oaks keeps the controls down the right-hand edge rather than along the bottom: a menu button, a sound toggle, a fast-forward for turbo, the spin button, an A for autoplay and a stake button beneath it. The bottom bar carries only Last Win, Balance and Bet, and the pay table runs to five pages.

Who Should Play It

Dancing Joker suits players who like the coin-collector format in classic dress. Forty lines keep something landing on most spins, the coins and jackpot plates arrive in the base game rather than behind a feature wall, and a 500x GRAND is a real target on a game that looks this simple.

What it is not is a line-pay game. Five red sevens pay twice the stake, and a 95.71% return is below average, so there is no reward for patience on the reels themselves. Play it for the coins, or not at all.
