FC Magic Overview

FC Magic is a football-themed slot from CT Interactive, the online arm of CT Gaming, released on 1 September 2024. It runs on 5 reels and 3 rows with just 5 fixed paylines, and it keeps the formula of a classic CT machine: a reel-filling trophy wild on the middle reels, two different scatters and a card gamble after every eligible win.

All the numbers below come from our demo session, played at a total bet of 10.00 – a line bet of 2.00 on each of the five lines.

A Night Match Under the Floodlights

The reels sit on a green pitch inside a floodlit stadium, with confetti falling from the stands and three gold stars on either side of the FC MAGIC logo. The high symbols are pieces of kit: the club badge, a blue shirt, a pair of boots and the goalkeeper’s gloves. The low symbols are the letters A, K, Q and J, drawn as if they were printed on the grass.

The trophy cup is the wild, and a golden football and a red whistle are the two scatters. Everything is large and clearly outlined, so a winning line is easy to read even on a phone.

The Paytable at a 2.00 Line Bet

CT prints its paytable in cash for the current line bet. At 2.00 per line the club badge is the top symbol: five pay 6,000.00, four pay 400.00, three pay 100.00 and even two pay 20.00. On the full 10.00 stake that is 600x for a line of five badges.

The shirt and the boots share the next tier at 1,000.00, 200.00 and 80.00, the gloves pay 400.00, 100.00 and 40.00, and the four letters all pay 200.00, 60.00 and 20.00. The screenshots match the table exactly: two badges on line 3 paid 20.00, and three boots on the same line paid 80.00.

Five Lines Only

The rules page draws the five paylines: lines 1 to 3 are the three straight rows, and lines 4 and 5 are a V and an inverted V that dip from the top row to the bottom and back. With so few lines, the middle row carries most of the action, and the trophy wild on reels 2 to 4 sits on every one of them at once.

Our demo balance showed how gently the game moves at this stake: it went from 99,988.80 to 99,838.80 FUN between captures, back up to 99,998.80, and ended at 100,228.80 after the trophy spin – small swings on a 10.00 bet.

Two Different Scatters

The golden football pays anywhere on the reels: five are worth 1,000.00, four 200.00 and three 30.00 – that is 100x, 20x and 3x the 10.00 bet. The whistle is the second scatter, and it can only land on reels 1, 3 and 5. Three of them pay 200.00, or 20x the bet.

Neither scatter opens a free spins round. FC Magic is a straight line-and-scatter game, and the scatters simply add their prize on top of whatever the lines return.

The Trophy Wild

The rules describe the wild as a trophy that appears on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels and substitutes for all other symbols in every position of its reel, except the two scatters. In play it arrives as a single tall cup that covers the whole reel, with the word WILD at its foot.

One of our spins shows what that does on only five lines: the cup filled reel 3, queens lined up on either side of it, and the spin paid 240.00 – 24x the stake from a combination of low letters.

The Double-Up Game

After any win smaller than 10x the total bet, you can press the x2 button to gamble it. A card is dealt face down, and you choose either its colour (red or black) to double the win, or its suit to multiply it by four. A strip at the top shows the last ten cards, and if you make no choice within five seconds the round is cancelled and the win is kept.

We took the 240.00 win into the gamble with a colour guess; a six of diamonds came up, the screen showed YOU WIN, and the history strip gained a second red card.

How High Can It Go?

CT Interactive’s own game library gives FC Magic a maximum win of 15,000x, and SlotCatalog repeats that figure. CT quotes its multipliers on the line bet, though, not on the total stake. On a five-line game, 15,000x the line bet is 3,000x the total bet – which is exactly what a screen full of club badges would pay: five lines of 6,000.00 on a 10.00 stake. Our data box therefore shows 3,000x.

Who Should Play It

FC Magic suits players who like short, readable sessions on a classic machine. Five lines keep the stake low and the maths transparent, the reel-filling trophy makes every spin on reels 2–4 worth watching, and the gamble gives an optional extra step after smaller wins.

The medium-high volatility means dry spells between the bigger line wins, and there is no bonus round to save a session, so it is best played in small steps.
