Chinese Express

Chinese Express Overview

Chinese Express is a train-themed slot from Onlyplay, released on 20 February 2024. The reels sit inside a red railway carriage rolling past pagodas and paper lanterns. It plays on a 5x3 grid with 20 lines, with an RTP of 95.36%, medium volatility and a maximum win of 45,000x the bet. SlotCatalog lists a hit frequency of 12.28%.

Symbols

All symbols are round medallions. The golden steam locomotive is the top symbol, followed by a portrait of a woman in a traditional dress, a red folding fan and a steaming teacup. A dark Scatter tile also appears on the reels.

Our Wins at a 50 Bet

All five of our screenshots were taken at a 50 USD bet:

• 7,250 (145x) – locomotives filled most of the grid, covering 12 of the 15 positions.
• 1,000 (20x) – the woman portrait across the middle and right reels.
• 625 (12.5x) – a spread of fan symbols.
• 500 (10x) and 350 (7x) – blocks of teacups on the first three reels.

The big locomotive hit shows how much of the game’s value sits in the top symbol landing in stacks.

Multiplier Bar

Above the reels a counter shows x1 next to three card slots that fill with gold tickets as you play. SlotCatalog lists Multiplier and Random multiplier features along with Scatter and Wild symbols, which is how the game reaches its 45,000x ceiling. The exact trigger rules are not shown on our screenshots, so we do not describe them in detail.

Bet Settings and Presentation

Our screenshots were all taken at a 50 USD bet, set with the plus and minus buttons on the bottom bar, and a Max Bet button sits to the right of the reels next to the spin button. Both sides of the carriage show the 20 LINES marker. Winning symbols stay lit while the rest of the grid dims, and the win amount appears in large gold figures over the reels, so each result is easy to read at a glance.

Who It Is For

Chinese Express suits players who like a clean 20-line layout with a high ceiling behind it. The medium volatility and stacked premium symbols make for a steady game with the occasional large hit, as our 145x locomotive screen shows.

Where to Play

Chinese Express was not available at any of our six partner casinos when we checked on 28 September 2026. The free demo on the left still runs, so the casino below is a general recommendation.

You can try this game on AztecParadise Online Casino. There’s a unique casino bonus offer of 300% up to £2000 for a limited time.
