Chocolate Shop Overview

Chocolate Shop is a five-reel slot with 25 paylines from Eurasian Gaming, released on 31 January 2025. It has a Valentine’s theme built around a sweet shop, with expanding wilds, scatter prizes, free spins and a gamble option listed among its features. SlotCatalog gives bets from 0.25 to 100.

Inside the Sweet Shop

The reels sit under a striped shop awning, set into a wooden counter, with shelves of cakes, jars and gift boxes behind them. A small Cupid holding a rose sits on a pink heart to the right of the reels, and the pink Chocolate Shop logo, with a heart in place of the letter O, hangs in the top corner.

Every symbol is a dessert on a white plate: a chocolate slice with orange, a lime cake, a blueberry cheesecake, an orange cake, a kiwi slice, a strawberry roll, a cherry cake and a cupcake. The bet panel at the bottom shows the bet per line, the total bet, the balance and the latest win.

Paylines and Bets

The game is played on 25 fixed lines, drawn one by one on the info pages, and the total bet is the line bet times 25. We played at €0.02 per line (€0.50 in total) and at €4 per line, a total of €100. All the line wins we saw started on the first reel.

The Paytable

The info pages list the prizes at €0.02 per line. The chocolate slice is the top symbol: five pay €20, four €3, three €1 and even two pay €0.20 – that is 1,000x the line bet for a full line, or 40x the total bet. The lime cake and the blueberry cheesecake each pay €14 for five, €2.40 for four and €0.80 for three.

The orange cake pays €4, €0.80 and €0.40, and the four lower desserts – kiwi slice, strawberry roll, cherry cake and cupcake – all pay €3 for five, €0.60 for four and €0.20 for three.

Scaled up to our €4 line bet, everything is 200 times larger: five chocolate slices on one line would pay €4,000, five lime cakes €2,800 and five of any lower dessert €600. Three of the lowest symbols return €40, which is less than half of the €100 stake, so a single small line win rarely covers a spin.

Expanding Wilds

The wild is a chocolate layer cake marked WILD. When it lands, it can grow to fill the whole reel, as we saw several times on the second reel, and it then stands in for the desserts on every line that crosses it.

One such spin at €100 put four strawberry rolls on a line with the wild in second place for €120, and the full reel of wilds lifted the total for that spin to €280. Another expanded wild on the same reel helped build a €320 win.

Hearts and Cupid

The scatters are pink hearts with a SCATTER banner, and they pay wherever they land. Three hearts scattered across the reels paid us €500, five times the total bet. Cupid also appears on the reels with a SCATTER label under him.

SlotCatalog lists free spins and a multiplier among the features, although our screenshots do not show the free spins round itself. The game also has a BUY button next to the spin button, and the gamble option listed by SlotCatalog lets you risk a win for a bigger one.

Power Play and Fast-Play

The game has a Power Play menu, where you choose which power feature to switch on. The one we saw was Fast-Play: it plays many rounds automatically and shows you the final result straight away, instead of spinning each round on screen.

We set it to 170 rounds at €0.50 a round, and the game confirmed that 170 rounds would be played at the press of the spin button. It is a quick way to see how a budget fares, but it also takes away the part of the game most players enjoy.

What We Saw in Play

At €100 a spin the results swung widely. Two chocolate slices paid €40 on one line, part of an €80 spin; the three scatters brought €500; and the expanding wilds gave €280 and €320. Those five wins came to €1,220 between them. The scatter prize was the largest of them at 5x the total bet, still far below the €4,000 that a full line of chocolate slices would pay at that stake.

Chocolate Shop suits players who like a classic 25-line layout, a clear paytable and a light, romantic theme. The expanding wild and the scatter prize are easy to follow, and the Fast-Play option is there for anyone who prefers results to animations.
