Volcano Crown Overview

Volcano Crown is a fiery fruit slot from the Redstone studio, released under the Foxi (Fazi) brand on 6 August 2024. The reels sit in a gold frame in front of an erupting volcano, with red smoke and glowing lava filling the background. The symbols are drawn in the glossy, heavy style of modern fruit slots: a red seven, a golden bell, grapes, strawberries, plums, oranges, bananas and cherries. Every winning symbol catches fire briefly, and the paylines are drawn in thin gold lines across the grid.

The design is busy but easy to read. The three jackpot counters use a gold bar, a diamond and a silver bar, and gold coins sometimes drop across the screen after a win, which keeps the eye on the jackpots even in the base game.

The Paytable

The info screen prints every prize in cash for the current stake. At 20 FUN the red seven is the top symbol: five pay 10,000.00 (500x the stake), four pay 400.00, three pay 100.00, and even two sevens return 20.00.

Below it come grapes and strawberries at 1,400.00 for five (70x), 240.00 for four and 80.00 for three. The bell pays 400.00, 80.00 and 40.00, and the smaller fruit group – plums, oranges and the rest of the low symbols – pays 300.00, 60.00 and 20.00. The gap between the seven and everything else is large: a full line of sevens is worth about seven times a full line of grapes.

Burning Crown Wilds

The crown is the wild symbol. It substitutes for the paying symbols and burns in bright orange when it completes a line. In our captures the crowns landed stacked on the middle reels – in one spin a full column of crowns stood on reel 2, and in others two or three reels were covered by crowns at once.

That is where the bigger results came from. One spin with crowns on reels 3 and 4 linked oranges across several lines for 180.00 (9x), and a screen with crowns filling most of reels 2 and 3 connected oranges and bananas on many lines at once for 280.00 (14x). Because every line is scored separately, a block of crowns in the middle of the grid multiplies the number of winning lines rather than the size of any single prize.

Two Kinds of Scatter

Volcano Crown has two different scatter stars. The gold scatter pays anywhere on the screen: 2,000.00 for five (100x), 400.00 for four and 100.00 for three. The blue scatter has a single prize in the paytable: three of them pay 400.00, or 20x the stake.

There are no free spins attached to either star. The scatters simply add a prize on top of whatever the paylines return, which fits the straightforward character of the game.

Three Jackpot Counters

The counters above the reels are progressive: their values rose slightly with every spin in our session. At the start of the captures the gold bar stood at 1,568.58, the diamond at 13,960.72 and the silver bar at 384.29. A few spins later they had climbed to 1,629.02, 14,036.28 and 391.22. At a 20 FUN stake the diamond jackpot was therefore worth roughly 700x the bet.

The silver counter reset during the session, dropping from about 391 to 201 before it started to climb again, so at least one of the smaller jackpots was won in the meantime. The game does not explain on screen what triggers a jackpot, so we cannot say which symbols award them.

What the Session Did

Most of our wins were modest line hits. Three oranges across the top line and two more oranges on another line paid 40.00 (2x). Four oranges on the top line plus three on a second line paid 80.00 (4x), and a spin with crowns on reel 2 and cherries on several lines paid 60.00.

The best capture was 240.00 (12x): strawberries on three lines, joined by a crown on reel 3, with a gold coin tumbling across the screen afterwards. A mixed spin with three plums, three bells and crowns on reel 4 paid 200.00 (10x). The balance moved between roughly 600 and 1,000 FUN during the session – the steady back and forth you expect from a ten-line fruit game.

Reading the Numbers

Because the paytable is printed in cash, it is easy to convert every prize into multiples of the stake. At 20 FUN the smaller fruit pay 1x for three and 3x for four, the bell 2x for three and 4x for four, and the grapes and strawberries 4x for three and 12x for four. The jump to five of a kind is always the big step: 15x for the small fruit, 20x for the bell, 70x for grapes and strawberries and 500x for sevens.

The same ratios apply at every stake between 0.50 and 50, so a player at the maximum bet would see a line of five sevens pay 25,000 and five gold scatters pay 5,000. The progressive counters work differently: their values are shown in cash and grow with play, so their size relative to your stake depends on the bet you choose.

Paylines and Controls

The ten paylines are fixed: three straight rows, a V, an inverted V and five zigzag shapes. The stake is set in one field, and there is an autoplay button beside the spin control.
