How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

40 Dazzling Roll Overview

40 Dazzling Roll is a classic dice slot from EGT Digital, released on 15 September 2026. It plays on a 5x4 grid with 40 fixed paylines, and the reels are filled with colourful dice instead of fruits. Wins pay for combinations of a kind on adjacent reels from left to right, starting on the leftmost reel, and Scatter wins are added to the line wins.

The game is listed with an RTP of 96.45% and a medium volatility. The maximum win is 5,000x the bet. The demo rules list bets from 0.40 to 4,000 per spin, while casinos usually offer a range from 0.40 to 40.

The game keeps things simple: stacked dice that can fill whole reels, a lucky 7 as the top symbol, the four-level Clover Chance progressive jackpot and a red or black card gamble.

Theme and Graphics

The reels sit in a golden frame on a deep red background, with the Grand, Major, Minor and Mini jackpot meters along the top and a “40 Lines Fixed” sign on the left. Winning dice burst into flames, and the coloured paylines light up across the grid.

The symbols are dice: a white die with a red 7, a white die with a red star, and plain dice in blue, green, purple, yellow, orange and red. The plain dice often land stacked, so a whole reel can show the same colour.

Symbols and Paytable

At a total bet of 640, the paytable shows these values:

  • Lucky 7: 80,000 for five (125x the bet), 16,000 for four and 1,600 for three,
  • Blue and green dice: 8,000, 3,200 and 800,
  • Purple, yellow and orange dice: 3,200, 800 and 320.

Line wins are multiplied by the bet on the winning line, Scatter wins by the total bet, and only the highest win per line and Scatter is paid. Simultaneous wins on different lines are added together.

Stacked Dice and Big Line Wins

With 40 lines on a 5x4 grid, stacked dice are the key to the game. When the same colour fills the first reels, many lines pay at once. In our screenshots, stacks of green dice on the first two reels paid 4,800 at a bet of 640, purple stacks paid 3,200, and another green spin paid 6,400. Three 7s on line 37 paid 1,600 on their own, and in another spin three 7s on line 23 were part of a total win of 11,200.

The 40 Paylines

The 40 lines are fixed, so every spin plays all of them. The first four lines run straight across the four rows, and the others zigzag, dip and climb across the grid in V shapes, W shapes and diagonals. Because the lines overlap so much, one stack of dice on the first three reels usually completes several lines at the same time, and the win counter adds them all together.

This is also why the game feels steadier than its 5,000x top prize suggests: small and medium wins from the plain dice come often, while the 7s and full screens of one colour bring the bigger payouts.

How a Round Plays Out

Most spins show a mix of colours with one or two short wins. Things get interesting when the same colour lands stacked on reels 1, 2 and 3: then the coloured lines light up all over the screen and the dice catch fire. In a session played in euros at a bet of 20, a spin with purple stacks on the first reels and blue stacks on the right side paid 90.10, with dozens of lines lit at once.

The lucky 7 is the symbol to watch. Even three 7s on a single line pay 2.5x the bet, and five 7s on a line pay 125x. When 7s land stacked on the first reels, several lines can pay the 7 prize together.

Bets and Game Rules

The bet is chosen with the five bet buttons under the reels, which in the demo showed 400, 480, 640, 800 and 960. The game has a turbo mode and a hold for fast play spin button. It supports recovery in case of disconnection, so an interrupted round is finished when you reconnect, and a slow connection may show outdated jackpot values for a moment.

Clover Chance Jackpot

Clover Chance is EGT’s progressive jackpot with four levels: Grand, Major, Minor and Mini. The jackpot feature is triggered randomly at the end of any game. The win of the triggering spin is paid first, and then the player picks from 15 chests.

Twelve chests hold coloured pearls – red for Grand, green for Major, blue for Minor and purple for Mini – and three hold level up clovers. Three pearls of the same colour win that jackpot, and a matching clover upgrades it to the next level: three green pearls with the green clover pay the Grand instead of the Major. Only one jackpot can be won per feature, and no line wins are paid during it.

Gamble Feature

Any win up to 750 can be gambled with the x2 button. You choose red or black: if the colour of the card is right, the amount is doubled, if not, it is lost and the game ends. You can gamble up to 5 times in a row, and the gamble is not available after a progressive jackpot win. In our game, a win of 220 could be gambled for 440.

Part of the Roll Series

40 Dazzling Roll was released in the same week as 10 Leprechaun Roll, another EGT dice slot. Both games replace the classic fruits with dice and use the Clover Chance jackpot, but they play differently: Leprechaun Roll has 10 lines on a 5x3 grid and a leprechaun Wild of its own, while Dazzling Roll goes for 40 lines on a 5x4 grid, stacked dice and a higher top prize of 5,000x.

Who Should Play It

40 Dazzling Roll is for players who like classic EGT gameplay with many lines, stacked symbols and a progressive jackpot, without complicated bonus rounds. Try the free demo first.
