Buffalo Creek High RTP

Buffalo Creek High RTP is a Wild West slot from EGT Digital, and it is the High RTP edition of the studio’s Buffalo Creek. The game plays on 5 reels and 4 rows and pays on ways instead of fixed lines. It appeared in September 2026 as part of EGT’s High RTP series, which means the game is not connected to a jackpot, so a larger share of the stakes goes back to the players. The official description invites you to “hop on the bucking bull” for a rodeo with special coins, a golden bonus that grows with every level, a Wild that multiplies wins and a Scatter that can start free spins at any moment.

A Rodeo At Sunset

The reels sit in a wooden frame in front of red canyon cliffs and a purple evening sky, and a red HIGH RTP badge in the top left corner tells you which edition you are playing. The symbols are painted as round medals in the colours of the prairie: a bison, a bald eagle, a cougar, a wolf and a bighorn ram are the picture symbols, and they are joined by the card values 9, 10, J, Q, K and A in teal, green, blue, purple, red and gold. On the left, a wooden Buy Bonus sign offers a shortcut to the bonus rounds, and the controls on the right include a speed button and a stake selector with a plus and minus.

Ways To Win On A 5x4 Grid

With four rows and five reels, a win does not depend on a payline. Matching symbols on neighbouring reels, starting from the left, pay in the usual way, and the bison, which is the biggest animal on the reels, often lands as a tall stack that covers several positions on one reel. The wild is a bison skull on a sunset background, marked simply WILD, and according to EGT it multiplies the wins it takes part in.

Bonus Symbols And The Golden Bonus

The special tiles marked BONUS show a stormy rock formation with lightning, and they can land on the reels during the base game. The official description also speaks about special coins that you collect and a Golden Bonus, a feature that gets better with every upgrade of its level. The game also lists a Multiplier feature and a Scatter that can trigger free spins at any time, so even a quiet stretch of spins can change quickly.

The Buy Bonus Menu

Buffalo Creek High RTP lets you skip the waiting and go straight to the action. The Buy Bonus window offers three options:

• Free Spins, which at the stake shown on the screen costs 50 times the bet;
• Super Free Spins, an option marked MAX BET on the buy screen;
• x2 Chance For Bonus, a smaller extra payment that raises the chance of a bonus on every spin. At a stake of 1,200 it was priced at 1,500, which is 25% on top of the bet.

The window also has a Buy Bonus Every Spin switch, and the options that are too expensive for the current balance are marked as insufficient funds. Lowering the stake with the minus button makes the cheaper options available again. Because buying a bonus is a high-cost choice, it is a good idea to compare the price with your balance before you confirm.

Controls And Settings

The bottom row has the stake buttons, and the demo offers a wide range of levels from 800 to 2,000 credits, with the middle value selected at the start. Autoplay, Turbospin and Quick Spin are available, as in all EGT slots, and the game also supports multi-denomination play, a Battery Saver mode and a Left Hand mode for phones. The sound and settings buttons are in the bottom right corner, and the info and help pages can be opened from the bottom left.

RTP And Volatility

For this edition, EGT does not show a single RTP number on its game page, so the exact value is best checked in the rules of the casino where you play. What is clear is that the High RTP versions return more to the player than the standard ones because there is no jackpot taking a share of every bet. The regular Buffalo Creek is listed at about 96.3% with medium-high volatility and a top prize of up to 5,000 times the stake. Because this is a medium-high volatility design, quiet spins can be followed by bigger moments when the bonus and the multiplier work together.

Who Will Enjoy It

This slot suits players who like animal themes with a Western flavour and want a modern game with a lot of choice: ways to win, a golden bonus, a free spins feature and a Buy Bonus menu in the same place. If both versions of Buffalo Creek are in the lobby, the High RTP badge on the screen shows which one you have opened, and it is the one with the better return.
