Mine Medal OverviewMine Medal is a mines-style instant game from Caleta Gaming, released on 25 July 2024. Instead of reels you get a running track: an athlete has to climb 10 rows of a 4-column grid, choosing one tile per row and avoiding the hidden losing symbols. Every row cleared lifts the prize multiplier, and you can cash out at any step. SlotCatalog lists the game with an RTP of 96% and a maximum win of 20,971x, with bets from 1 to 100. The figures below come from our own demo session, played at FUN 10 on the EASY level. A Race to the PodiumThe playing field is a red running track on a green stadium background, with the Mine Medal gold-medal logo on the left and the multiplier ladder on the right. A small cartoon athlete starts below the first row and moves up one tile at a time; a small flame marks the top step of the ladder, and a winners’ podium waits at the finish. Three Difficulty LevelsBefore each round you choose EASY, NORMAL or HARD. The level decides how many losing tiles hide in each row, and with it how steep the multiplier ladder is. We played on EASY, where one of the four tiles in each row is a loser. The EASY LadderOn EASY the ten steps pay x1.28, x1.71, x2.28, x3.03, x4.05, x5.39, x7.19, x9.59, x12.79 and x17.05. The numbers follow the odds exactly: with three safe tiles out of four, each row has a 75% chance of success, and 0.96 ÷ 0.75 = 1.28 for the first step. Every further step divides by 0.75 again, so the top of the ladder is 0.96 ÷ 0.7510 = 17.05. That is the published 96% return built into every single step. How a Round PlaysYou set the bet, press BET, then pick a tile in the lowest row. A safe tile lights up with a green tick and the athlete moves onto it; a losing tile shows a red cross. After every safe step the game offers NEXT STEP or COLLECT, with the current cash value shown on the collect button. The ControlsThe bottom bar holds the menu, a level switch (it showed EASY in our session), the bet button and a quick-bet shortcut, plus the balance, the current win and the bet. The default stake on opening was FUN 5.00; we raised it to FUN 10 before starting. How Far to ClimbBecause every EASY row is a three-in-four chance, the odds of surviving fall quickly the higher you go. By our own calculation you reach the third step (x2.28) about 42% of the time, the sixth step (x5.39) about 18% of the time, and the very top (x17.05) only about 6% of the time. Collecting early is the steadier choice; climbing all the way is where the big multipliers are. What the Session DidAt FUN 10 the collect button read 17.10 after two rows (x1.71) and 53.90 after six rows (x5.39). We kept going to the top of the track, and the round ended on the podium with YOU HAVE WON 170.50 – the full x17.05, or 17x the bet. The balance had dropped from 1,000.00 to 990.00 when the bet was placed. The Numbers to Keep in MindEASY tops out at 17.05x. The 20,971x maximum listed for the game belongs to the harder levels, where more losing tiles per row make each step far riskier and the ladder far steeper. The RTP stays the same; only the balance between frequent small wins and rare big ones changes. Who Should Play ItMine Medal suits players who like short, decision-driven rounds and want to see the odds of every step. Cash out early for small, frequent returns, or push up the track for the bigger multipliers. Where to Play Mine MedalYou can try this game on SunClub Online Casino.
