How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

Prism Flicker Overview

Prism Flicker is a classic fruit slot from Inbet, released on 1 September 2026. It plays on 5 reels and 4 rows with just 5 paylines, and it keeps the formula as simple as it gets: fruit symbols, a lucky 7, a Crown Scatter that pays anywhere, and a Risk game where you can try to double or quadruple your wins.

There is no wild, no free spins round and no bonus buy – every win comes straight from the reels. Inbet does not publish the RTP, the volatility or the maximum win for its games, so we leave those fields empty instead of guessing; the game rules only say that the maximum win is limited by the rules of the game.

Theme and Graphics

The name says it all: every symbol looks like it was cut from glass or crystal. The fruits are faceted like gemstones and sparkle with a prism effect, set against a bright purple background with a geometric triangle pattern. Small white lights run around the edge of the reels like the frame of an old casino cabinet, and every win sends a burst of pink light across the screen. It is a modern, polished take on the classic fruit machine look.

Symbols and Paytable

The paytable is short and easy to read. All values change with the selected bet; at a 1.00 bet the game showed:

  • Red 7: 20 / 200 / 1,000 for 3 / 4 / 5 on a line – by far the best symbol,
  • Watermelon and strawberry: 10 / 40 / 100,
  • Grapes, plum and orange: 4 / 10 / 40,
  • Cherries: 1 / 4 / 10 / 40 for 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 – the only symbol that pays for just two in a row,
  • Crown Scatter: 2 / 10 / 50 for 3 / 4 / 5 anywhere on the screen.

Line wins pay from left to right on the selected lines, and only the highest win per line is paid. The jump from four 7s to five 7s is huge (200 to 1,000), so the top prize clearly depends on lining up all five of them.

The Crown Scatter

The golden Crown is the Scatter. It pays in any position on the screen, not only on the paylines, and its wins are added to the line wins of the same spin. Three Crowns anywhere paid 2.00 on a 1.00 bet in our demo session – together with a small line win, that spin returned 6.00. The Crown does not trigger any feature; it is a simple bonus pay that adds a little extra to the base game.

How Wins Look in Practice

With only five lines, the wins in Prism Flicker are easy to follow. In our session, three strawberries on two lines paid 20, three rows of cherries brought 12 from three lines, and a spread of cherries across the reels paid 40 in a single spin. A short line of three red 7s paid 20. Because the cherries already pay for two symbols, the reels rarely stay completely quiet for long.

The Risk Game

After every win you can choose to take the win or risk it. The Risk game is a classic card gamble:

  • guess the colour of the next card (red or black) to double the amount,
  • or guess the suit (hearts, diamonds, clubs or spades) to multiply it by four.

The screen shows the current amount at risk, what you would win with each choice, and a row of previous cards. There is also a Take 1/2 button: it collects half of the amount and lets you keep gambling with the other half – a nice middle ground if you want to bank part of a win and still chase a bigger one. A wrong guess loses the amount that was at risk.

The gamble is completely optional. If you prefer steady play, simply press Take after each win and the amount goes straight to your balance. If you like a bit more excitement, the Risk game is where small wins from the 5 lines can quickly grow – or disappear. Colour guesses are the safer option, while the suit guess offers the bigger multiplier at higher risk.

Game Controls

The control bar runs along the bottom of the screen. On the left are the help button, the currency and the balance; in the middle a message bar tells you what happened on the last spin. On the right you will find the number of lines, the bet, the Autoplay button and the large round spin button. After a win, the Autoplay button turns into Risk, so you can enter the gamble directly. Sound, music and fullscreen switches sit in the top right corner, and the rules and paytable open from the question mark button.

About Inbet

Inbet is a game studio with a very large catalogue of classic slots, many of them built around fruits, 7s and a card gamble. Its games are made for quick sessions and clear rules, and Prism Flicker fits that profile exactly, just with a fresh crystal design.

Who Should Play It

Prism Flicker is for players who like old-school fruit machines without complicated features. Five lines, a scatter and a gamble – that is all there is, and that is exactly the point. If you enjoy deciding after each win whether to take it or risk it, the double-or-quadruple card game adds some tension to the simple base game. Try the free demo first to see how often the 7s show up.
