Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Our editors can adjust a score after playing the game. Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

Hot Diamonds 20 OverviewHot Diamonds 20 is a classic fruit slot from Zeus Play, released on 29 September 2023. It plays on a 5x3 grid with 20 fixed paylines and a blue diamond wild that expands to cover its whole reel. SlotCatalog lists a 96% RTP and low-to-medium volatility, with bets from 0.10 to 20. A maximum win is not published. The PaytableThe paytable is shown in cash for the current stake. At $10.00 (fifty cents per line) it reads:
In multiples of the total stake, five sevens on a line pay 135x, five BARs or bells 26x, and five of the four low fruits 5x. The seven is the only symbol that pays for two of a kind. The Expanding Diamond WildThe diamond is the wild, and when it lands it stretches over its full reel. In one of our spins a full diamond reel on reel 1 lined up with two BARs on reels 2 and 3. That made three BARs on two separate lines, and the game paid $40.00 – exactly two lines at $20 each, straight from the paytable. With twenty lines crossing every reel, one full wild reel touches all of them at once. What Our Spins ShowedThe screenshots let us check the paytable against real results at the $10.00 stake:
The Scatter StarThe golden star is the scatter. Three of them on reels 1 to 3 paid $30.00, 3x the stake, with no payline involved. SlotCatalog lists scatter symbols among the features but no free spins, and our screenshots show none: the scatter is a direct cash prize rather than the key to a bonus round. Twenty Lines on a Small GridTwenty lines on fifteen positions means the lines overlap heavily, and even modest symbols can combine. That, together with the expanding wild, is where the low-to-medium volatility comes from: frequent small line wins, occasional wild-assisted multi-line hits, and a rare five-seven line for the 135x top prize. With a full diamond reel on reel 1 and sevens on reels 2 to 5, several of the twenty lines could carry that top prize at once, but the game does not publish a maximum win. How the Symbols CompareThe table has a clear shape. The seven stands alone at the top, with its five-of-a-kind worth more than five times the next symbol. BAR and bell share the second tier at identical values. The plum sits on its own in the middle, paying more than twice the low fruits for five. Grapes, apple, lemon and cherry then share the bottom tier, all at the same $50 / $18 / $4. That grouping matters for reading the reels: a screen full of mixed low fruit can still pay on several lines at $4 each, but only sevens, BARs, bells and plums make a single line worth watching. Two Sevens Are EnoughThe seven is the only symbol that pays for two on a line – $4.00 at our stake, or 0.4x. It is a small prize, but it gives the game a regular trickle of returns, and when a full diamond reel lands between or beside two sevens on a line, the pair becomes three sevens and the line pays $26.00 instead of $4.00. What the Stake Range MeansAll twenty lines are always active, so the line bet is a twentieth of the stake. At the 0.10 minimum, five sevens on a line pay 13.50 and five low fruits 0.50. At the 20 maximum, the same five sevens pay 2,700 and the scatter trio 60. Because the paytable is printed in cash for the chosen stake, it updates as you change the bet – the ratios above stay the same at every level. A Calm SessionOur screenshots were taken with a demo balance of around $5,000 at a $10.00 stake, and the balance moved in small steps: $4,954 before the apple win, $4,990 around the bell and scatter wins, $5,010 after the wild win. That fits the low-to-medium volatility label: many modest wins, few long dry spells, and no bonus round to wait for. GraphicsThe design is pure fruit machine: fiery red background, orange-framed reels, and glossy symbols with bright highlights. Winning symbols catch fire, and the Hot Diamonds 20 logo sits above the reels in blue and gold. The control bar underneath shows the credit balance, the win and the bet in plain figures, with the spin button on the right. The Hot Diamonds FamilyZeus Play has released the same game in several sizes. Hot Diamonds 20 Dice swaps the fruit for dice on the same layout, and the series also includes a five-line and a hundred-line version. Hot Diamonds 20 sits in the middle of the range. Who It Is ForHot Diamonds 20 is for players who want a clear, old-school slot with honest numbers on show: the paytable is printed in cash, the wild simply fills its reel, and the scatter pays out on the spot.
