A Jester Over a Burning City

The reels are set in a rough stone frame that looks like a castle window, and behind it a city burns under a red sky – blocky ruins, smoke, embers drifting across the whole screen.

Draped over the top of the frame is the game’s host: a red-haired devil girl in a jester’s hat, leaning on her elbows with a hand of playing cards, a small horned tail and a golden trident planted beside her. She grins wider when a spin pays.

The symbols follow the same joke: skulls on red octagons, a snarling demon face in a circle, imps stamped on the four card suits, and two more devil girls – one blonde, one with flames for hair.

The card suits are the low end of the table and the girls are the high end: one capture pays 120.00 with the flame-haired girl framed in purple across two positions, while the spade and diamond tiles sit unlit beside her. The Three Multiplier Plates

This is the mechanic, and it is impossible to miss: three wooden plates sit above the three columns, each carrying its own multiplier. They are not decoration and they are not fixed.

The captures catch four different settings. Three of them read x1 · x2 · x3. Two read x2 · x3 · x4. And one reads x10 · x1 · x2 – the whole set re-rolls between spins, and the left plate can jump to ten while the others sit at the bottom.

You can see them working in the totals. Two of the session’s wins are 59.88 and 112.22 – figures no paytable produces on its own. A multiplier applied to a line win is the only thing that lands on numbers like those.
