Devil's Kitchen Overview

Devil’s Kitchen is a five-reel, three-row slot with 8 paylines, developed by Hungry Bear Gaming and distributed through Yggdrasil. It was released on 26 March 2025, and SlotCatalog lists an RTP of 94%, high volatility and a maximum win of 4,875x the bet. Bets run from 0.20 to 50.

A Kitchen in Hell

The reels stand inside a brick oven wall with flames rising along the bottom of the screen. The symbols are the menu: grinning chilli peppers in red, green and orange, a flaming burger, a slice of pizza and a hot dog. Most of them are drawn in grey until they are part of a win, when they light up in full colour.

The black Devil’s Kitchen logo is the game’s own symbol, and the wild is a red panel with a multiplier printed on it, such as WILD x1 or WILD x5.

The Paytable

The paytable shows every value as a multiple of the total bet, for five, four and three of a kind:

• red chilli: 15x / 8x / 2x
• orange twin peppers: 10x / 7x / 1.5x

Wins That Match the Table

Every line win in our screenshots matches the paytable exactly at the €50 bet. Five red chillies on line 3 paid €750, which is the full 15x. Three green chillies on line 5 paid €50 (1x), four hot dogs on line 8 paid €50 (1x), three burgers on line 5 paid €50 (1x), and three pizza slices on line 3 paid €25 (0.5x).

Because the paytable is built on the total bet rather than the line bet, it is easy to read what each result is worth: the red chilli is the premium that matters, and the food symbols at the bottom mostly return part of the stake.

Eight Lines on Five Reels

The game draws each winning line across the reels in red, which makes the shapes easy to follow. Line 3 runs straight along the bottom row, line 5 forms a wide V from the top corners down to the middle of the bottom row, and line 8 zigzags between the rows. A banner above the reels names the line and its value, for example “Line 5: €50.00”.

With only eight lines, most spins in our session produced a single line win or nothing at all, and the win counter at the bottom of the screen showed the total for each spin.

The Wild and Its Multiplier

The wild substitutes for the paying symbols and carries its own multiplier. The paytable describes the top combination as five wilds for 50x “plus associated multiplier value”, and in our captures a wild landed showing x1 on reel 4. SlotCatalog lists wilds with multipliers and a separate multiplier feature, so higher values on the wild are part of the design.

The Bonus Game

The bonus takes you to a separate screen: a fiery board full of pegs and pots, with a ball counter, a total win counter and a total multiplier counter on the left. The pots are marked with multipliers, including 2x, 3x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 10x and 20x, and two of them read 2X+1B and 5X+1B, which add an extra ball as well as a multiplier.

In our round the win counter climbed through 1,600 on the board, and the game closed with “Congratulations! You won €2,600.00” – 52x the €50 bet. The balance rose from €10,275 before the bonus to €12,725 afterwards.

The Session in Numbers

Our balance stood at €10,275 before the bonus and €12,725 after it. From there the base game moved it to €11,575, €11,600, €9,150 and finally €9,200 over the following spins, with line wins of €25 to €750 along the way. That swing of more than €3,500 in a few minutes is a fair picture of what high volatility means at a €50 stake.

The Numbers to Keep in Mind

A 94% RTP is below the market average, and the volatility is high, so the base game relies on small line wins while the bonus board carries most of the value. The 4,875x ceiling is set by the multipliers rather than by the paytable, since even five logos pay only 20x.
