Heist: Bank Rush - Hold & Win is a bank-robbery slot from Betsoft. A Night Raid on the Bank

The reels stand in front of a columned bank at night, with a police officer crouching behind yellow tape on the left and blue light washing over the street. The grid itself is framed in dark steel, and the card ranks from 10 to A are drawn in cold blue metal letters.

The four premium symbols are the members of the heist crew, each on a coloured tile: Neil in red, Travis in yellow, Finley in green and Hummer in blue. The diamond is the bonus symbol, and it always carries a cash value printed across it – in our session we saw diamonds worth €10, €20, €30, €40, €60 and €90 on a €10 bet.

The Paytable

The paytable is printed in cash for the current bet. At €10 it reads:

• Wild: €25.00 for five, €12.50 for four, €7.50 for three and €2.50 for two.
• Neil (red): €15.00, €10.00 and €6.00.
• Travis (yellow): €10.00, €7.50 and €5.00.
• Finley (green): €9.00, €6.00 and €4.00.
• Hummer (blue): €7.50, €5.00 and €3.00.

Five Wilds are worth 2.5x the bet and the best crew member 1.5x, so the line game is modest. A typical small win in our session was three Ks paying €2.00. With 1,024 ways and a hit rate above 77%, the base game returns something on most spins, but the real money sits in the diamonds.

The Hold & Win Feature

According to Betsoft, six or more bonus diamonds trigger Hold & Win. The grid switches to a vault lit by red laser beams, the diamonds lock in place and you get 3 respins. Every new diamond sticks and resets the counter to 3 – the message bar in our round read “RESPINS RESET TO 3!” more than once.

Our round started with nine diamonds worth between €10 and €60 and ended with the grid well filled: the final message read “HOLD & WIN FEATURE WON €500.00”, which is 50x the bet. One purple diamond in that round was worth €240, far above the ordinary values.

The Crew in the Vault

What sets this game apart is that the four crew members also appear during Hold & Win, each with a special job. The feature screen introduces them before the respins start:

• Neil – Shapeshift: changes into any of the other three crew members.
• Travis – Collector: collects all the values currently on the reels.
• Finley – Extra: reveals a value, then picks a random symbol and adds that value to it 3 to 10 times. Betsoft describes the revealed value as ranging from 3x to 100x.
• Hummer – Multiplier: picks 2 to 4 random symbols and doubles their value, from 2 up to 5 times.

Doubling a symbol five times makes it 32 times bigger, so a single Hummer landing on a grid full of diamonds can change the result dramatically. The purple €240 diamond in our round was most likely the work of one of these crew symbols, although the capture does not show which one.

Buy Feature

The Buy Feature menu lets you go straight into Hold & Win and choose how many respins you start with. At a €10 bet the prices were €300 for 1 respin (30x), €600 for 2 respins (60x) and €1,000 for 3 respins (100x). The rules add that Buy Feature availability depends on your bet.

Maximum Win

Neither Betsoft nor SlotCatalog publishes a maximum win for Heist: Bank Rush, so our data box leaves that field empty rather than guess. With the Extra and Multiplier crew stacking on top of each other, the ceiling depends heavily on how the Hold & Win round develops.

The Numbers to Keep in Mind

A 96.20% return is in line with the market average, and the high volatility matches what we saw: frequent small line wins and one large feature result. The very high hit rate of 77.49% is typical for a 1,024-ways game, where two or three matching symbols anywhere on the first reels already pay.
