How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

The VIP is a high-roller casino slot from Betsoft, live since 17 September 2026. It plays on 5 reels and 4 rows with 1,024 ways to win, and its main idea is the Collect Feature: casino chips with cash values pay out when they line up from the left, and a Duel Multiplier – Player against Banker, just like at the baccarat table – can multiply them by up to 100x. A Cash Bonus Meter, a VIP Case, free spins and a Buy Bonus complete the package. The RTP is 96.05%, the volatility is medium-high, the hit rate is 26.54% and the maximum win is 10,000x the bet.

Behind The Velvet Rope

The game takes you into a private room of a luxury casino. Art deco lamps glow on the ceiling, a roulette table and red leather chairs wait in the background, and the reels sit in a dark, gold-trimmed frame. The four fixed jackpots – Grand, Major, Minor and Mini – are listed on the left, while the Cash Bonus Meter and the glass-fronted VIP Case full of gold chips sit on the right.

Symbols And Paytable

The symbols are the trappings of a high-roller night. At a bet of €10, the paytable showed these prizes for five, four and three of a kind:

  • The VIP gentleman: €80 / €24 / €16
  • Scatter (diamond): €50 / €20 / €10
  • The lady in red: €24 / €16 / €8
  • Gold watch: €16 / €12 / €8
  • Royal flush cards: €12 / €8 / €4
  • 100,000 plaque: €8 / €4 / €2
  • Dice, money clip and black chips: €4 / €2 / €0.80
  • Roulette wheel and martini: €2 / €0.80 / €0.40

Wins pay for matching symbols on neighbouring reels from the left, the number of ways multiplies with every extra match on a reel, and only the highest win per way is paid. Scatter wins are added on top and pay anywhere.

Wild Symbol

The wild is a pile of gold coins with the word “WILD” in large gold letters. It appears only on reels 2, 3 and 4 and substitutes for every symbol except the Bonus, Duel Multiplier and scatter symbols. In the base game, every wild that lands is then collected either by the VIP Case or by the Cash Bonus Meter, so wilds help in two ways at once.

Collect Feature

The silver casino chip is the Bonus symbol, and it can land on all reels. It carries a cash value between €4 and €2,000 at a €10 bet (0.4x to 200x), or one of the jackpot chips: Mini €120 (12x), Minor €240 (24x), Major €1,200 (120x) and Grand €40,000 (4,000x). When two or more Bonus and/or Duel Multiplier symbols land on adjacent reels starting from reel 1, the Collect Feature adds up the values of the winning chips and pays them. In our session, chips worth €30, €10 and €4 on reels 1 to 3 paid exactly €44 this way.

Duel Multiplier

The Duel Multiplier shows two labels, Player and Banker, each with its own multiplier. When it is part of a Collect combination, the two sides face off and the winning multiplier is applied to the collected chip values. The possible values are 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 20x, 25x, 50x and 100x, and if several Duel Multipliers land on the same spin, their results are added together. The multiplier only works on the chips – it does not multiply normal way wins.

Cash Bonus Meter And VIP Case

The Cash Bonus Meter starts at 5x, 6x, 7x or 8x the total bet, and every wild it collects raises it by 1x, up to a maximum of 20x. Each bet level keeps its own meter. The meter does not pay in the base game: during free spins, its value is added to your win at the end of every Collect Feature, and it resets after the free spins if at least one Collect was triggered. In our session the meter showed €50 at a €10 bet and had climbed to €60 when the free spins started.

The VIP Case is the base game’s surprise. Whenever it collects a wild, it may open at random and scatter Bonus chips across the reels. If a new chip lands on an existing one, their values are added together, and an opened case always triggers the Collect Feature. It never scatters jackpot chips or Duel Multipliers, and it is not active during free spins.

Free Spins

Three, four or five diamond scatters award 10, 15 or 25 free spins, played at the bet of the triggering spin. Each extra scatter during the round adds one more spin. In the free spins, Bonus chips appear more often, a Duel Multiplier is guaranteed on reel 3 on every spin, and the Cash Bonus Meter value is added at the end of each Collect. The intro screen sums it up with three tiles: chips that “appear frequently”, the guaranteed Player and Banker multipliers, and “+1 free spin” for every scatter.

Buy Bonus

The round yellow Buy Bonus button gives instant access to the free spins. It costs €660 at a €10 bet (66x) and lands 3 to 5 scatters, so you get 10, 15 or 25 free spins at random, together with a random Cash Bonus Meter value between 5x and 20x the total bet.

Our Session

We played at €10 per spin. The base game started with small hits, such as two wilds on reels 3 and 4 turning a set of black chips into a €9.60 win and a row of dice with two wilds paying €7.20. The best base-game moment was the €44 Collect, which lifted the balance to about €1,023.

Then we bought the bonus for €660. Three diamond scatters landed, and the game announced 10 free spins – the smallest of the three packages – with the meter at €60. During the round, the wilds stacked up on reels 3 and 4 and a Duel Multiplier showed Player x7 against Banker x4, but the big chip combination never came. The free spins finished with €103.20, and together with the €10 paid by the three scatters the bonus returned €113.20 – far less than its price. It is a good reminder that the Buy Bonus buys a chance at a big round, not a guaranteed profit.

RTP, Volatility And Max Win

The VIP has an RTP of 96.05% and medium-high volatility, with a hit rate of 26.54% – roughly one winning spin in four. Bets run from €0.25 to €40. The maximum win is 10,000x the bet, which would be €100,000 at our €10 stake; when it is reached, the round ends at once. The 4,000x Grand chip and a 100x Duel Multiplier on a big Collect are the paths to that ceiling.

Who It Is For

The VIP is for players who like collect-style slots with a strong bonus. The casino-night theme is elegant, the Player-versus-Banker multiplier is a clever twist, and the Cash Bonus Meter gives the base game a purpose. Our bought bonus shows the other side: the free spins can also end small, so it pays to set a budget before pressing the yellow button.
