Festive Xmas 7s Overview

Festive Xmas 7s is a five-reel, three-row slot from Kalamba Games with 10 paylines, an RTP of 93.73% and a maximum win of 30,000x. Kalamba’s own portfolio sheet dates the launch to 5 December 2024 and rates the volatility at 8 out of 10, with a hit frequency of 22.5%.

It is a classic sevens-and-bars machine dressed for Christmas, built around four HyperBet levels, a ladder of eight Cashpot prizes, multiplier wilds and a free spins round that can extend itself.

A Fruit Machine Under the Tree

The reels sit inside an old-fashioned slot cabinet trimmed with fairy lights, candy canes, pine branches and a wrapped present on either side. Snow gathers on the top of the frame, and the background glows with blurred Christmas lights.

The symbol set is deliberately retro: single, double and triple BAR symbols in blue and purple, and three colours of 7 – red, green and blue – with an icy, frosted finish. The specials are a gold Bonus star, a Cashpot bauble carrying a cash value, and wilds that can carry multipliers.

The gold Bonus star is the free spins symbol. It turned up on its own on reel one in one of our base spins, and in another it landed twice, on reels one and four, next to a stack of Cashpot baubles – close, but not a trigger.

The Cashpot Ladder

Above the reels runs the game’s signature feature: a ladder of prizes for landing Cashpot symbols. In our captures it read 100 for 5 Cashpots, 150 for 6, 200 for 7, 400 for 8, 2,000 for 9, 4,000 for 10, 10,000 for 11 and 100,000 for a full 12.

The shape of that ladder matters more than any single rung. The first four steps are small and close together, then the values jump fivefold at nine Cashpots and tenfold between eleven and twelve. The final rung is worth ten times the one below it, so almost all of the ladder’s value is concentrated in the last symbol.

One caution: the ladder showed the same amounts in our €10 capture and our €100 captures, so we cannot say from the screenshots alone how it scales with the stake. At the €100 bet, the top rung would equal 1,000x.

HyperBet Levels

Below the reels sits a row of four HyperBet panels – a 7, a WILD, a bell and a larger golden bell. Each level switches on another part of the game: one of our captures shows the panel reading CASHPOT SYMBOL as the corresponding level was activated.

Kalamba’s description confirms that the four levels unlock the Multiplier Wilds and the Cashpot prizes. In practice that means the full version of the game, with every feature active, costs more per spin than the base version, and the bet shown in the corner should be read together with the HyperBet row.

The Line Pays

At €100, five red 7s pay €600, four pay €200 and three pay €60. The green 7 pays €200, €100 and €50, and the blue 7 pays €200, €100 and €30. Any mix of sevens pays €20, €10 and €3.

That gives a top line of 6x the stake for five red sevens – small next to the Cashpot ladder, which is exactly how this kind of game is designed. The line pays are there to keep the balance moving; the ladder and the free spins carry the upside.

The rules note that the paytable reflects the current bet configuration and that wins pay left to right from the leftmost column on one of the 10 fixed lines, shown in the paylines chart as straight rows, V shapes and zigzags.

The green and blue sevens pay the same for five of a kind and differ only for three, where green pays €50 against blue’s €30. The mixed-sevens line is worth a tenth of the colour-matched ones, so the colour of a seven decides nearly everything about its value.

Multiplier Wilds

The wild substitutes for the sevens and bars, and at the right HyperBet level it can carry a multiplier. Our free spins captures show an X5 wild sitting on the second reel, multiplying every line that passes through it.

On a 10-line game that is a large effect: a single five-times wild that completes a three-of-a-kind red seven turns €60 into €300 at the €100 stake.

Free Spins

The round opens with 8 free spins. Kalamba adds a simple extension rule: for every three extra free spins symbols collected during the round, three additional spins are awarded, tracked by three stars on a meter beneath the reels.

Our round did exactly that. With the meter full, a large +3 Extra Spins star burst onto the screen at spin 7 of 8, and the counter moved on to 10 of 11. By that point the round had already collected €109, then €277, before a big-win banner of €784 filled the screen – nearly 8x the bet.

Cashpot baubles also appear during the round with values such as €170 and €40 printed on them, and the base game captures show values of €80, €110 and €200 stacked on the middle reel.
