Nostradamus: The Prophet Overview

Nostradamus: The Prophet is a mystic-themed slot from Amigo Gaming, released in July 2023 (SlotCatalog dates it to 25 July 2023). The famous 16th-century seer looks out from a 5x4 grid with 30 paylines, surrounded by crystal balls, astrolabes, quills and star charts against a violet night sky. Amigo rates the volatility as medium-low and publishes a maximum multiplier of x1,100. Stakes run from 0.30 to 90 per spin. Two features carry the game: Free Games and the Pin Win crystal-ball bonus.

The Game at a Glance

  • Layout: 5 reels, 4 rows, 30 fixed paylines
  • Stakes: 0.30 to 90 per spin
  • Volatility: medium-low (Amigo Gaming)
  • Maximum win: x1,100 the stake
  • Free Games: 3 scatters for 8 spins, high symbols only, retriggers
  • Pin Win: 6 or more crystal balls, locking balls and extra spins

The Base Game

Between features the reels are dominated by the letters, which is exactly what the free games later remove. In our base-game screenshots the low symbols filled most of the grid, with the occasional quill, ink pot or globe among them. Wins here are small by design: the base game’s job is to deliver scatters and crystal balls, and a three-scatter trigger that also returns the stake is a typical good spin.

The Symbols

The top of the paytable belongs to Nostradamus himself, drawn as a bearded prophet in a glowing violet robe. Around him sit the astrolabe globe, the rolled star chart, the quill and ink pot and the blue potion bottle, with the familiar A, K, 10 and J as the low symbols. The golden compass rose is the scatter, a round medallion marked WILD substitutes for the regular symbols, and the glowing crystal balls are the bonus symbols that carry cash values.

Free Games

The ticker spells out the trigger: three scatters start 8 free games. Our trigger spin landed three compass roses on the top row and also paid €3.00 on its own – 1x the €3 stake – before the free games began.

The intro panel explains what changes: “The highest paying symbols only appear on the reels.” The letters disappear, leaving the prophet, the premium objects, the wild, the scatter and the crystal balls. That is why free-game wins are so much bigger than base-game ones.

How Long the Free Games Can Run

The counter at the top shows that the free games retrigger. In our screenshots it read 8 / 24 and 10 / 24 in one round, and 56 / 72 in another – a round that started with eight spins had grown to seventy-two. Each retrigger adds another batch of spins to the total rather than restarting the count.

What Our Free Games Paid

We played at a €3 stake. At free game 10 of 24, the prophet stacked across the first four reels with a column of wilds on the fourth, and five lines paid €475 – more than 158x the bet from a single spin. At 8 of 24, crystal balls worth €3 to €27 filled much of the grid while two lines paid €25. Deep into the 72-spin round, a Mega Win banner announced €123.50 on ten lines, about 41x.

The Pin Win Bonus

The second feature starts when 6 or more crystal-ball symbols land, as the ticker says. Amigo’s description explains the rule: every crystal ball that lands locks in place and grants additional spins, giving you more chances to reach the jackpots. The balls we saw carried values between €3 and €27 – 1x to 9x the stake.

Above the reels a three-star meter counts down the balls still needed: our screenshot read “12 LEFT TO GET X2”, so filling more of the grid doubles the result. The bonus opened with the banner “You won the Pin Win Bonus!”

Our Pin Win Result

The round ended on a TOTAL WIN of €1,308.00 – 436x the €3 bet, the biggest result in our session and well over a third of the game’s x1,100 ceiling. It shows where the real value of Nostradamus lies: the base game is modest, and the crystal-ball bonus is where the big numbers appear.

Graphics and Atmosphere

The reels sit in a gold frame under a red-and-gold Nostradamus: the Prophet logo, with planets and nebulae drifting across the background. Big wins are announced with heavy gold lettering and a shower of coins, and the prophet’s portrait glows with a violet aura whenever he lands. The controls are placed on the sides of the screen, with the balance and stake shown in gold panels below the reels.

More From Amigo Gaming

The fill-the-grid-for-a-multiplier idea returns in later Amigo games: Olympus Blessing multiplies its Pin Win by ten when all fifteen spheres are collected, and Galaxy Chase pairs a Pin Win with free games that keep only the high symbols.

Who It Is For

Nostradamus: The Prophet suits players who like a calm base game with two clear routes to a bigger win. Medium-low volatility keeps the pace steady, the free games strip out the low symbols and can retrigger far beyond the first eight spins, and the Pin Win bonus is where results like our 436x come from. The x1,100 ceiling is modest, so this is a game for regular mid-sized wins rather than one enormous hit.
