A Volcano at Night

The reels stand in a burning stone frame against a landscape of black mountains and lava rivers, with a huge shadowed wing filling the right of the screen. The line count is printed vertically down both edges of the frame – 50 LINES, twice, in case you missed it.

The symbol set is hell-themed and legible: a glowing spellbook, a pickaxe, a winged devil, a candle-lit skull and a purple bat-heart, above card ranks from 9 to A. The messenger himself – a red-skinned devil with horns – is the WILD.

The Paytable

At the $250.00 bet the spellbook leads on $3,000.00 for five, $500.00 for four, $175.00 for three and $10.00 for two – the only two-of-a-kind pay on the game.

Below it the pickaxe pays $1,250.00, the winged devil $750.00, the skull $625.00 and the bat-heart $500.00 for five. A and K pay $400.00; Q, J, 10 and 9 are all tied at $250.00. The SCATTER pays $500.00 for three.

Converted to the stake, five spellbooks is 12x, five pickaxes 5x, and a full line of the four bottom ranks is worth exactly the stake back. The two-book pay is $10.00 – four hundredths of the bet.

That is an unusually flat table for a 50-line game, and it explains the shape of the session: with the cheapest full line paying 1x, wins arrive constantly and none of them are large.

What the Reels Did

The captured wins were $500.00, $600.00, $775.00 and $865.00 – between 2x and 3.5x the stake, every one of them assembled from several lines at once.

One capture shows how that happens. Eight spellbooks fill the first two reels completely, and the payout is $500.00 – two times the bet. Half the grid covered in the top symbol is worth 2x, because the book only pays properly across five reels.

Another has the wild devil appearing three times across reels two and three, with the win reaching $775.00 – 3.1x. The wilds are doing the work the paytable will not.

Reading the Line Counter

The banner above the reels names the line that paid: the captures catch LINE 47 and LINE 68. The second is worth noting – on a game advertising fifty lines, the internal numbering runs past it, so the banner is reporting a line index rather than a count.

The figures in that banner are also mid-animation in most captures, showing partial amounts while the reels resolve. The WIN field in the footer is the one to read.

The Balance Barely Moves

For a medium-high rating that is a remarkably calm sample, and it fits the table: frequent small wins, nothing dramatic, and the volatility presumably living in a feature the captures did not reach.
