Giga Genie Overview

Giga Genie is a five-reel, three-row slot from Mancala Gaming with 10 fixed paylines, an RTP of 95% and a published maximum win of 8,205x the stake. It was released on 26 November 2024.

The title describes the main event: in the free spins, the genie appears as a Giga symbol that covers the three middle reels in one 3x3 block. Around it the game adds a lamp-collecting progress bar with multiplier stages, a HyperPlay bet option and a direct Buy Bonus Feature.

Mancala does not publish a volatility rating for Giga Genie, and the RTP of 95% is on the low side of the market. All amounts below were recorded in the demo, which plays in DEM units, at a stake of 20 per spin.

An Arabian Palace at Night

The reels stand inside an ornate palace frame, framed by carved pillars and a row of candles along the top, with moonlit arches and a starry purple sky behind them. The whole scene is lit in deep blue and gold, and the logo sits in the upper left corner above the HyperPlay switch.

The premium symbols are four characters and objects from the Arabian Nights: a bearded sultan, a veiled woman, a red treasure pot and a golden teapot. The low-paying symbols are four jewels cut in the shape of card suits – a red heart, a purple diamond, a green diamond and a blue club.

The genie himself is the wild, drawn with a blue face, a turban and the word WILD across his chest, and he can land stacked on the reels in the base game.

The Paytable

Pays are for three, four or five of a kind on one of the ten lines. In our DEM 20 session the paytable showed the following values:

The sultan pays 500 for five, 200 for four and 80 for three – so the best line in the game is worth 25x the stake. The woman pays 300, 120 and 60, the treasure pot 120, 60 and 40, and the teapot 80, 40 and 20.

The four jewels are split into two pairs. The red heart and the purple diamond pay 50, 30 and 14, while the green diamond and the blue club pay 30, 20 and 10. A five-of-a-kind on the two cheapest jewels therefore returns one and a half times the stake.

These are modest line values for a game with an 8,205x ceiling, which tells you where the real potential sits: in the Giga wild and the multipliers of the bonus round, not in base-game lines.

Stacked Wilds in the Base Game

In the base game the genie wild can arrive as a stack covering a whole reel. Our first recorded win came from exactly that: a stacked genie on the second reel joined teapots and portraits across several lines for 160.00, which is 8x the 20 stake – or 6.4x the 25 we were actually paying with HyperPlay switched on.

Lines and Controls

The rules screen draws all ten paylines as small 5x3 diagrams. Besides the three straight rows there are V-shapes and zigzags that move between the rows. With so few lines, a win needs its symbols in fairly specific positions, which is one reason the stacked and Giga wilds matter so much here.

The control column on the right holds the spin button, a stop button that ends the round early, and an Autoplay option. Autoplay comes with two safety settings: a loss limit that stops the sequence once losses exceed the amount you set, and a win limit that stops it when a single round wins at least your chosen amount.

HyperPlay

The HyperPlay panel on the left of the screen is a bet booster. With it switched on, the total bet in our session rose from DEM 20 to DEM 25, an increase of exactly 25%.

According to the game description, the extra quarter doubles the chance of triggering the bonus game. In practice it trades a higher cost per spin for more frequent free spins.

Buying the Bonus

The Buy Bonus Feature button opens a panel that promises 5 free spins with additional prizes. At a stake of 20 per spin, the total cost shown is 1,100.00, which is 55x the stake. The panel has its own plus and minus buttons, so the price follows whatever stake you set.

The Free Spins and the Giga Genie

The bonus opens with a Congratulations screen confirming 5 free spins. As soon as the round starts, the layout changes: the three middle reels merge into a single tall window, and the genie can land there as a Giga wild filling the full 3x3 block. With the whole centre of the grid wild, any matching symbols on the first and fifth reels connect across every line they sit on.

Above the reels runs a progress bar of golden lamps. Collecting lamps moves the bar along, and three milestones are marked on it: x2, x5 and x100. In our round the bar also paid out extra spins – a +2 Free Spins message appeared early on, taking the counter back up to four.

One practical detail: the bonus announcement screens wait for you with a countdown – “Click to continue” with a number beside it – which suggests they move on by themselves if you do not click.

What Our Bonus Paid

The first Giga wild landed with treasure pots on both outer reels and paid 420.00, which is 21x the stake. Once the bar had passed its first milestone, the genie came back wearing an x2 badge: one spin paid 580.00 and the final free spin paid 480.00, both with the doubled wild.

The round ended with 1,400.00 in total, or 70x the stake. Against the 1,100 purchase price that is a profit of 300 – a respectable outcome for a buy, but a long way from what the x5 and x100 stages of the bar would do if a round reached them.

Who Should Play It

Giga Genie is a bonus-driven game. The base game pays in small, steady amounts, and almost everything that matters happens once the three middle reels merge into a single Giga window. The progress bar gives each bonus a sense of direction, and the x100 stage explains how a game with such a small paytable can publish a ceiling of 8,205x.

The reservations are the 95% RTP and the missing volatility figure. HyperPlay and the buy option both make the game more expensive per spin, so they are worth using deliberately rather than by default.
