Aztec King Megaways Overview

Aztec King Megaways is a jungle-temple slot from Pragmatic Play, released on 10 August 2021. Theme and Presentation

The reels stand in front of a sunlit jungle, with stepped stone pyramids and temple terraces rising through the trees on both sides. The grid itself sits in a dark carved-stone frame, the logo glows gold in the top-left corner and the ways counter hangs in a red stone plaque on the right. The symbols are richly drawn – the jaguar in particular often appears as a large, full-height portrait on the right-hand reels.

The Megaways Grid

The game’s rules page spells out the layout: reels 1 and 6 can show up to 7 symbols, reels 2 to 5 up to 8, because the top row of those four reels is a separate horizontal reel that spins right to left. Wins pay left to right on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost one, and the maximum of 200,704 ways only comes when every reel is at full height.

The Wild on the Top Reel

The wild is a green masked warrior. According to the rules it appears only on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 on the top row and substitutes for every symbol except the scatter. Two of our screenshots show it sitting on the horizontal reel above reel 2, ready to join any line running through that column.

Tumbling Wins

Every win triggers a tumble: the winning symbols are removed, jungle leaves sweep over the cleared positions and new symbols drop in, so one spin can pay several times. That is how modest-looking results add up – we saw spins close at £70, £100, £120 and £180, and the best base-game spin in our session paid £400, 3.2x the total bet.

Double Chance (Ante Bet)
