How we rate games

Every slot is scored on the same four criteria, using the game's published data: RTP (40%), maximum win potential (25%), bonus features described in our review (30%) and how recent the release is (5%). Missing data counts as neutral. The score reflects the game's numbers and features, not your chances of winning; slots are games of chance, so please play responsibly.

Crimson Heart Overview

Crimson Heart is a gothic vampire slot from Spadegaming, which reached the partner casinos in mid-October 2026 with a catalogue release date of 18 September 2026. It is built as a tall, portrait-style game with a moonlit cemetery gate behind the board. The artwork shows a vampire woman in a crimson gown above two gunslingers in dark hats, and the reels carry card ranks 9 to A together with gothic symbols such as a blood-red goblet, a crossbow and a vampire figure. The slot uses a ways-to-win engine with a changing ways counter above the reels.

Ways to Win

The counter under the logo changes from spin to spin. On our spins it showed 216 ways at the start, then 864, and the figure climbed to 15,400 and finally 57,624 ways in the bonus. The game’s range goes from 64 up to 117,649 ways, so the number of symbols on each reel is not fixed and the grid can be small on one spin and tall on the next. Bets run from €0.20 to €50.00 per spin, and the demo started with a €1.00 stake.

The Mega Wild

When the game loads, two introduction cards explain the main mechanics. The first one is the Mega Wild, which appears on reels 2 to 6 and covers the entire reel. It carries a multiplier of up to x7, and the multiplier of every Mega Wild that takes part in a win is applied to the win. During the free game a wild with a x3 badge showed up on a reel, while a separate multiplier in the top corner of the board climbed during the round.

Triggering the Free Game

The second introduction card covers the Free Game feature: four or more scatter symbols (blood-red bags with a SCATTER banner) trigger free games with a random feature. Before the free game starts, the game asks you to choose one of four options: 15 Free Spins with up to one random feature, 10 Free Spins with up to two random features, 5 Free Spins with up to three random features, or a Mystery pick that gives either option 1, 2 or 3. A timer counts down the decision, and the Start button begins the round. More spins mean fewer extras, so it is a real choice between length and power.

Buying the Bonus

A Buy Free Spins button in the corner of the board lets you skip the wait. At a €1.00 stake the confirmation window asked for €100.00, so the purchase costs 100 times the stake, and you still get to pick one of the four options above. We chose 10 free spins; the round showed a small ticker with the remaining spins, a banner with the spin win and a reminder text: “Bonus Multiplier rewards randomly”. The multiplier in the top corner rose from x3 to x5 during the round, and the round ended with a Total Win screen of 62.07 on the €100.00 purchase, after a BIG WIN message earlier in the feature.

Look and Feel

Because the game is designed for a tall screen, in the demo window on the left it sits as a centred column with a blurred copy of the cemetery on both sides. The reels have a deep red and orange glow, the symbols are clear, and a BIG WIN banner with the vampire heroine celebrates large payouts. Controls sit at the bottom: a stake selector, a menu, a large red spin button and the totals for balance, win and bet.

Data

RTP, volatility and a maximum win are not published for this release, so they stay empty here. The ways range, the bet limits and the buy price above come from the game itself and the provider’s listing.

Choosing the Free Game

The three numbered options are worth thinking about. Fifteen free spins with only one random feature give the longest run but the least extras; five free spins with up to three random features are short but potentially packed. The Mystery option removes the decision by picking one of the three for you. In the demo the choice screen has a countdown, and if the timer runs out the game starts for you, so it is worth deciding before the last seconds.

Who Will Like It

Crimson Heart is for players who like a dark theme with a changing ways counter and a bonus they can shape themselves. The choice between 5, 10 and 15 spins gives the free game a strategic edge, and the Buy Free Spins option makes it easy to reach the feature quickly. With multipliers on both the wilds and the whole board, the biggest wins are likely to come in the free game.
