The Paytable

All prizes are multiples of the line bet. The top god pays 10,000 for six of a kind, 5,000 for five, 1,000 for four, 100 for three and 10 for two. The goddess pays 4,000 / 2,000 / 400 / 40 / 5, and the two warriors 1,500 / 750 / 100 / 30 / 5. A and K pay 300 / 150 / 40 / 5 for six to three of a kind, and the game’s own configuration lists 200 / 100 / 25 / 5 for the Q, J and 10.

That table explains the published ceiling. Six of the top god on all 10 lines would pay 10 × 10,000 = 100,000 times the line bet, which is exactly 10,000x the total bet.

Ten Lines on Six Reels

The game’s configuration defines exactly ten lines across the 6x3 grid. Three of them are the straight top, middle and bottom rows; the others zigzag between the rows, for example dipping from the top row to the bottom row in the middle of the grid and climbing back up on the last reels.

Wins pay from left to right starting on the first reel, and the four portrait symbols already pay for two of a kind, while the royals need at least three. With only ten lines, most base-game spins connect one line at most, which is why the free spins matter so much more here than in a many-ways game.

The Book Symbol

As in every Book game, the book is both wild and scatter. It completes lines for the regular symbols, and enough of them anywhere on the grid open the free spins. Because a single symbol does both jobs, every book that lands helps in some way.

In our captures books appeared on the second, fourth and sixth reels as well as the first, so they are not tied to particular reels. Two books on the grid were common; the third one, which opens the bonus, was the one we had to wait for.

What We Saw in the Base Game

Two base-game wins in our captures show the book at work as a wild. Four tens on a line – three tens and a book – paid 125, exactly 25 times the line bet of 5. A row of aces with a book in the second position counted as four aces and paid 200, the paytable’s 40 times the line bet.

Free Spins With a New Symbol Every Spin

The free spins award 10 spins, and the award screen spells out the twist: “On each individual spin, a randomly assigned symbol will act as the expanding symbol for that spin only.” Most Book games pick one special symbol for the whole round; here it changes on every spin, shown in a small frame above the top right of the grid.

With a green warrior as the expanding symbol, two expanded reels paid 100 on one spin. A few spins later the jack was drawn and expanded on five of the six reels, lifting the round total to 2,120. After the retrigger the tens expanded on four reels and the total reached 2,920 with five spins still to go – at a line bet of 2, that is already 146 times the total bet.

The spin-by-spin symbol means a low-paying royal can deliver as much as a premium when it covers most of the grid: the expanded jacks alone added around 2,000 to the round.

It also shows the value of the extra reel. Expanded tens on four reels still paid on all ten lines at once, because every line crosses every reel – a feature of the Book mechanic that the sixth reel makes stronger, since a symbol covering five or six reels reaches the top of the paytable.
