Warrior OverviewWarrior is a cluster-pays video slot from Eurasian Gaming, released on 8 December 2023. The base game uses a 5x5 grid with cascading wins, and the free spins move to a much larger battlefield. SlotCatalog rates the volatility as low to medium, with a hit frequency of 29.55%. Eurasian Gaming has not published an RTP or a maximum win for this title. The game adds a pick-and-match bonus called Spoils of War, a bonus buy and a fast-play mode. We have not embedded a demo here, because Eurasian Gaming’s demo links do not reliably load the right game. An Imperial BattlefieldThe grid sits under the eaves of a red Chinese gate, with a green WARRIOR logo on top. To the right stands an armoured soldier with a sword and a round shield, and burning pagodas fill the background during the bonus. The left side of the screen holds a scroll that lists the clusters paid on the current spin, and a round meter sits above it. The four premium symbols are portraits: a bearded emperor, a lady in blue silk, a warrior in a blue helmet and a white-bearded sage. The lower symbols are objects from the battlefield: a jade carving, bronze coins, a jade ring and a black war banner. The controls sit in a bar along the bottom. Instead of a simple stake, the game uses a bet multiplier: in our session it was set to 10, with a bet per game of 10, which gave a total bet of 100 USD. Balance, total bet and the last win are shown on the right, with Buy and Auto buttons next to the central spin button. Cluster Pays and CascadesWins come from groups of matching symbols, not from lines. The paytable starts at four symbols and grows up to eight or more. After every win the cluster is removed, the symbols above fall down, and new ones drop in, so a single spin can produce a chain of wins. The scroll on the left adds them up as they happen. Four symbols act as wilds: two versions of the Warrior logo and two WILD symbols. All four substitute for every paying symbol, so they help to join clusters. In one of our screenshots two Warrior wilds linked with three ladies for a 200 USD cluster. The scroll makes it easy to follow a chain. In one spin it listed a five-lady cluster for 200 USD – exactly the paytable value – followed by smaller clusters of low symbols worth 40 and 20 USD as the cascade continued. A single spin can therefore add several lines to the scroll before the grid settles. The PaytableAt a total bet of 100 USD (bet multiplier 10), the emperor pays 150 USD for four, 300 for five, 600 for six, 1,200 for seven and 3,000 USD for eight or more – that is 30x the bet. The lady pays 100 to 1,600 USD. The helmeted warrior and the sage each pay 50 to 1,000 USD. The steps double at almost every level, so bigger clusters are much more valuable than small ones. Free Spins on a Giant GridWhen the bonus starts, the grid expands. In our screenshots the free spins run on a board of roughly ten by ten positions, full of portraits and wilds. An ATTACKS counter on the right starts at 4 and counts down to 0 as the round goes on, and a bonus panel below the win scroll tracks progress towards the next feature. The larger board makes big clusters much easier. In one free spin a group of wilds and portraits paid 1,300 USD, 13x the bet, and the round’s total stood at 2,310 USD by the time the Spoils of War bonus opened. The difference in size matters. The base grid has 25 positions, while the free-spin board holds around four times as many. With the same symbols spread over a much bigger area, clusters of eight or more – the level where the emperor pays 30x – become far more realistic, and the four wilds have many more neighbours to connect. Spoils of WarThe Spoils of War bonus is a pick-and-match game. Twenty-five silver keys are laid out on a 5x5 board, and the instruction is simple: click the keys until you match three. Picked keys light up in colour, and the aim is to find three that match. The game shows a LEVEL indicator on the right, starting at level 1. Our session ended with 2,610 USD paid in total. Power Play: Bonus Buy and Fast PlayA Power Play menu offers two options. The Buy-Bonus Feature cost 2,500 USD at our 100 USD total bet, which is 25x the bet. Once enabled, the next round starts the bonus as soon as you press spin. The Fast-Play Feature plays a chosen number of rounds automatically and shows only the result – 90 rounds in our screenshot. It stops when a bonus is triggered, so you can still play the bonus yourself. Bets and Game DataAccording to SlotCatalog, bets range from 0.10 to 20, and the feature list also includes a risk (double) game, where you can gamble a win. The volatility is low to medium with a 29.55% hit frequency. Eurasian Gaming has not published an RTP or maximum win, so we list neither. Our VerdictWarrior is one of the richer Eurasian Gaming releases. The cluster-pays base game is steady, with four wilds and cascades keeping the reels busy, and the free spins open a giant grid where 30x clusters are within reach. Spoils of War and the 25x bonus buy give extra ways into the action. Without published RTP data it is harder to judge the long-term value, but the design is clear and the paytable is generous at the top end.
