Vegas Hold’em Overview

Vegas Hold’em is a casino poker table game from Platipus, released on 7 September 2023. It follows the familiar casino Hold’em format: you play your two cards against the dealer’s two, using five shared community cards, and the best five-card poker hand wins. A single 52-card deck is shuffled before every round. Platipus does not publish an RTP for this title, so we do not quote one.

Ante, Call and the Qualifying Hand

A round starts with an Ante. After the deal you decide whether to continue with a Call, which in our session was twice the Ante: a $160 Ante and a $320 Call made a total bet of $480. The felt reads “Dealer’s qualifying hand / pair of 4s or better”.

Our screenshots show how that rule works in practice. The dealer held Q–A with no pair and was marked “Not qualified”, while our hand was only a High Card. The round still paid a total win of $640: the Ante was paid 1:1 and the Call came back as a push.

Our Sample Hand

The board in that round was K♠ 3♠ 10♠ 6♦ 9♦, three spades short of a flush for anyone holding a spade. Our 7 and Queen missed it, and so did the dealer’s Queen and Ace – without even a pair the dealer did not qualify, which is exactly what saved the Ante here.

Table and Controls

The table is a classic green felt with the two paytables printed on either side. Chips are picked from a selector at the bottom left (a 125 chip in our screenshots), placed on the Ante or AA circle, and the Deal, Clear and Rebet buttons sit on the right. A Bet Limits tab at the top shows the table range.

The Ante Paytable

If you beat a qualifying dealer, the Ante pays according to your hand: Royal Flush 100:1, Straight Flush 20:1, Four of a Kind 10:1, Full House 3:1, Flush 2:1, and Straight or less 1:1.

The AA Side Bet

The AA circle is an optional side bet that pays on your final hand alone, whatever the dealer holds. It needs at least a pair of aces: Royal Flush 100:1, Straight Flush 50:1, Four of a Kind 40:1, Full House 30:1, Flush 20:1, and 7:1 for a Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pairs or One Pair.

Who It Is For

Vegas Hold’em suits players who like the pace of casino poker without other players at the table. The qualifying rule gives the Ante a little protection, and the AA bet adds a separate chase for a big hand.

You can try this game on 7gold Online Casino. There’s a unique casino bonus offer of 400% up to £1500 for a limited time.

Vegas Hold’em was not available at any of our six partner casinos when we checked on 28 September 2026, so the casino above is a general recommendation. The free demo on this page runs on Platipus’s own server.
