Skyfire Defense Overview

Skyfire Defense is a space shooter from KA Gaming, added to the provider’s catalogue on 14 October 2026. It belongs to the shooting-game family rather than to slots: there are no reels, no paylines and no symbols to match. Instead a cannon sits at the bottom of the screen in front of the Earth, and meteors of many colours fall toward it from the top. Every meteor you destroy pays a prize multiplied by your bullet value.

Choosing a Room

The game opens on a room selector with three planets: Bronze for bullets of $0.01 to $0.10, Silver for $0.10 to $1.00 and Gold for $1.00 to $10.00. The room decides your bullet range, so it works like a table limit. Inside the game the bullet value is changed with the small minus and plus buttons next to the cannon. A button in the side menu brings back the room selector at any time, so you can move to a bigger or smaller room without leaving the game.

Controls

A short tutorial explains the screen the first time: click, or keep the mouse button pressed, to fire; arrows point to the option menu on the left, Lock Target, Auto Fire and Power Weapon on the right. Auto Fire shoots continuously without further clicks, Lock Target keeps the cannon pointed at a chosen meteor and the Power Weapon button fires the special shot. Once Auto Fire is switched on the cannon keeps shooting by itself.

The Meteors

The small drop-shaped meteors in cyan, purple and white are the common targets and fall in large numbers, so the screen is always busy. Golden meteors and large glowing rocks appear less often, including huge lava-like meteors and blue crystal ones with bright rings around them. When a meteor breaks, coins fly out and the prize amount pops up on the spot.

Random Multipliers

Some kills open a small colourful multiplier wheel over the target before the prize is paid. In our play the wheel produced amounts such as $0.50, $0.90 and $1.80 on a $0.10 bullet, so a lucky break can pay many times the shot that caused it. Ring effects and coin showers mark the larger hits, and the screen fills with explosions when several meteors are hit in a row.

Results and Balance

The information area in the side menu opens a Game Result table with the date, transaction ID, number of bullets, total bet and total win of each recent round, split over two pages. That makes it easy to see how many bullets a stretch of play really consumed. The balance bar at the bottom shows your demo account (the demo balance starts at $100,000), the bullet value and the running total.

RTP and Data

KA Gaming offers the game with operator-selected RTP levels from 82% to 98%; the data box on this page shows 96%. No volatility rating or maximum win is published, so those fields stay empty. The release date comes from the provider’s own catalogue.

A Short Session

We played the Silver room with Auto Fire at a bullet value of $0.10 and a demo balance of $100,000. Within a short stretch the balance moved only a few dollars in either direction, with prizes from about $0.17 and $0.50 up to $1.80 returning to the board while the cannon kept firing. The Game Result list showed rounds of one to three bullets each, with every bullet costing the full bullet value, so it is easy to track how much a minute of shooting costs in your chosen room.

Reading the Screen

The playing field is the whole upper part of the display, and the cannon, the bullet value selector and the buttons are packed into the bottom bar. A small rotating wheel and floating prize numbers show up exactly where a target breaks, so you can follow results without taking your eyes off the action. The backdrop is a deep starfield with a blue Earth horizon at the bottom, and the meteors are bright enough to stand out even when dozens are on screen.

Who Will Like It

Skyfire Defense is made for players who prefer an arcade feel to slot reels: constant action, no waiting for a spin and a bullet budget that you control directly. With Auto Fire switched on it needs very little attention, and with Lock Target you can aim at a big meteor and watch the prize build up. Smaller rooms are cheap to try, which makes the demo a good way to learn how fast bullets are used up before moving to a higher room.
