Rich Piggies 2: Bonus Combo Overview

Rich Piggies 2: Bonus Combo is the sequel to NetGame’s Rich Piggies: Bonus Combo, and it keeps the classic shape of the first game: 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 paylines, three golden piggy banks beside the reels and a Hold ‘N’ Link bonus that pays in coins and jackpots.

NetGame’s official game data lists a release date of 31 October 2024, an RTP of 96.01%, high volatility and a maximum win of x7,000. The studio also publishes a hit frequency of 25.7%, a feature rate of 1 in 99 spins and a big-win rate of 1 in 400.

All figures below were read from demo play at a bet of 100 EUR.

Theme and Graphics

The setting is unapologetic luxury. The reels sit in a gilded frame against a green felt background, with piles of gold coins and banknotes spilling along the bottom of the screen. Four jackpot plaques – GRAND, MAJOR, MINOR and MINI – line the top.

The premium symbols are status objects: a golden pig, a gold wristwatch, a ruby ring, a stack of gold bars and a cut diamond. The low end is covered by A, K, Q and J in gold and colour.

On the left stand three golden piggy banks, each on a coloured medallion – blue, red and green. These are the key to the bonus: each colour stands for a different type of bonus coin.

The Paytable

At a 100 bet the golden pig is the top symbol: five pay 3,000 (30x), four pay 200 and three pay 50. The next group pays 500 for five, 100 for four and 25 for three, and a third group pays 375, 75 and 25.

The A pays 250, 50 and 25, while K, Q and J share a row of 200, 50 and 25. All wins pay left to right on the 20 fixed lines, and only the highest win per line is paid.

There is a steep gap between the pig and everything else – five pigs are worth six times the next best symbol. That makes the pig the only regular symbol that can produce a big base-game win on its own.

Coin Stacks

The most eye-catching base-game moment is a tall column of gold coins that fills an entire reel. We saw it twice: once on the second reel and once on the fourth.

Both times it produced a solid line win. One spin with the stack on reel two paid 575.00 (5.75x), and another with the stack on reel four paid 500.00 (5x) on a combination of rings.

The Jackpots

At a 100 bet the four jackpot plaques read GRAND 500,000 (5,000x), MAJOR 50,000 (500x), MINOR 2,500 (25x) and MINI 1,000 (10x). NetGame lists the jackpots as internal and fixed, not progressive, so these values should move in step with the bet.

The Grand alone is 5,000x. NetGame’s published maximum of x7,000 leaves room for the Grand plus the coin values collected in the same bonus round. Some third-party databases list the ceiling as 5,000x, which matches the Grand alone; we use the studio’s own figure.

The Hold ‘N’ Link Bonus

The rules are printed clearly in the paytable. Whenever one or more bonus coins appear, there is a chance to trigger the Hold ‘N’ Link Bonus. The bonus starts with 6 coin symbols and 3 respins, and every new coin that lands is held and resets the respins to three.

A maximum of 8 bonus coins can be awarded during the bonus, and only the same type of bonus coins that triggered it – plus prize coins – may appear. The three piggy colours therefore decide which kind of bonus you get.

This is where the sequel’s main new idea comes in: multicoloured coins that combine the functions of the single-coloured ones, so one coin can activate more than one bonus at once. We saw a split red-and-blue coin worth 3,250.00 on the grid at the start of one round.

What Our Bonus Rounds Paid

One round filled most of the 15 positions with coins worth between 100 and 400, plus a red coin of 200 and a MINI coin marked x4. The final total was 6,960.80 – about 70x the bet.

Another round opened with five coins on the grid – 200, 200, 400, 100 and 100 – alongside the 3,250 multicoloured coin, before we tapped to start. That opening board alone was already worth 4,250.

Get Bonus

The Hold ‘N’ Link Bonus can be bought with the Get Bonus button. The player chooses which type of bonus coins to buy, which guarantees triggering that bonus. In our demo one of the options cost 3,500 EUR at the 100 bet – 35x. Get Bonus is available in the base game only.

The Piggy Banks During the Bonus

The screenshots show the link between the banks and the bonus quite clearly. In the base game all three piggies stand on the left. When the bonus starts, only the piggies whose coin type triggered it remain on screen.

In the round that paid 6,960.80, a single red piggy stood beside the grid. In the round that opened with the multicoloured coin, two piggies remained – the blue and the red – which fits the idea that one split coin can open two bonus types at the same time.

The coins themselves are easy to read. In the base game they appear as round medallions with a dollar sign – we saw a red one on the third reel and a blue one on the second – and in the bonus they turn into gold discs with cash values printed on them.

The Get Bonus Menu

The Get Bonus screen shows three choices side by side: a blue coin, a red coin and a golden pig in a green hat, matching the three piggy banks. The price is shown below the options, and the demo displayed 3,500.00 EUR for the option selected at the time.

Because the game states that paytable prizes are not awarded during the Get Bonus feature, a bought round pays only what the coins and jackpots deliver.

Who Should Play It

Rich Piggies 2: Bonus Combo suits players who enjoy Hold and Win games with fixed jackpots and a clear set of rules. The 96.01% RTP is reasonable, the feature rate of 1 in 99 spins is published, and the Grand at 5,000x is a real target.

The high volatility and a line game that pays modestly outside the golden pig mean that most of the value sits in the bonus. Players who prefer frequent base-game action may find it slow.
