Reeling in Cash

Reeling in Cash is a fishing slot from Novomatic, released on 15 September 2026. The reels are drawn under the water of a lake: a fisherman and his fish friend sit in a rowing boat on the surface, and below it the symbols float among weeds and a sunken wreck. The game uses 5 reels with 1,024 ways to win, the RTP is 93.7% and the volatility is high. Bets run from 0.20 to 100.00 per round.

What You Pull Out Of The Lake

The symbols are everything a fisherman might catch. The low-paying group is made of an old boot, a tyre, a green bottle, a rusty tin and a soda can, and these pay 2x, 1.5x, 1.5x, 1x and 1x the bet for five of a kind. The treasures pay much more: the purse and the pink piggy bank pay 8x for five, the gold watch pays 10x, the blue ring pays 15x and the ruby pendant on a pearl chain pays 20x. Four of a kind and three of a kind pay smaller amounts, and the full list is on the paytable pages inside the game, which you can page through with the arrow buttons.

How The 1,024 Ways Work

There are no fixed paylines. Wins start on the leftmost reel and are made of matching symbols on consecutive reels from left to right, and every combination of positions counts as a separate way. Only the highest win is paid for each way, and scatter wins are added to line wins. Winning symbols are framed with a bright glow, and the game also shows the amount for each way, such as a small 0.10 win on one way.

Fishing Line And Wilds

The Wild is a small worm on a hook. It replaces all symbols except the Bonus symbol and the cash symbols. The more interesting part is the Fishing Line: when it is cast, a message under the reels announces that it converts any high-paying symbol into a Wild. This can turn a mixed screen of rings and pendants into a big win, and it is the first of several random features that can start on a base-game spin.

Cash Symbols And The Dynamite

Green cash symbols with a euro value on them can land anywhere on the reels, and the values seen in the demo range from small amounts up to several hundred times the stake. A second announcement tells you that you can win a variable amount of cash with dynamite. The cash symbols are collected and paid instantly, and a strong spin can add many of them together. With a bet of 1.00, the cash symbols on the reels showed values such as 2.00, 3.00, 4.00, 10.00, 20.00 and 50.00.

Free Games (free spins) With Persistent Multipliers

The green fish marked Bonus is the scatter. Three or more of them trigger 10 Free Games, and the rules describe them as free games with persistent multipliers, so multipliers do not reset between the free games. Extra free games can also be awarded during the round. The game stops autoplay when free games are awarded, so you will always see the start of the round.

Menu, Turbo And Autoplay

The control bar at the bottom has a Total Bet selector, a Max Bet button, Auto for automatic spins and a Turbo switch for faster rounds. The menu holds the paytable and info pages, the help text with the full rules and the exit button. Autoplay stops when the total bet is higher than your balance or when free games are awarded.

A Look At The Session Screen

The bottom line of the screen shows the win of the last round, the credits and the total bet. The demo starts with a play-money balance of one million credits, so you can test the high volatility at a larger stake without any risk. The bar under the reels, with the small fishing hook, shows the text of the feature that has just been triggered.

RTP And Volatility

The RTP of 93.7% is below the average for modern slots, and the volatility is high, so expect long stretches of small wins with a few strong rounds. The 1,024 ways make the base game more active than a fixed-line slot, and the random Fishing Line and cash features keep it from being a pure waiting game for the bonus.

Who Will Enjoy This Lake

Reeling in Cash is a good pick for players who like relaxed, cartoon-style themes but still want a risky maths model. The bonus features appear in the base game too, so you do not have to wait for the free games to see something happen. Players who are used to higher RTP values should check the number in the rules of the casino they use.
