Bingo Empire Overview

Bingo Empire is a video bingo game from TaDa Gaming, released on 22 December 2021. Instead of reels it puts four bingo cards on the screen, draws a set of numbered balls, and pays when the marked numbers form one of twelve printed patterns. The published maximum win is 3,000x. TaDa does not publish an RTP or a volatility rating for the game, so we leave both open.

All the figures in this review come from our own demo session at a bet of 10 per card with all four cards in play – a total bet of 40 per round.

A Mayan Temple Hall

The cards sit in front of a stone temple with carved Mayan faces on both sides and jungle light in the background. Between the two pairs of cards stands a golden door with a round window, and that window is where each drawn ball appears in close-up before it drops into the row of balls at the top of the screen.

The controls are on the right: a large START button, CANCEL and a change button that deals new numbers onto the cards. The bottom bar shows the balance, the bet per card, the number of cards and the total bet.

Four Cards, Fifteen Numbers Each

Every card is a grid of three rows and five columns, so each one carries fifteen numbers from 1 to 90. You decide how many cards to play – from one to four – and the total bet is simply the bet per card multiplied by the number of cards. Matched numbers turn dark blue on all four cards at once.

The Twelve Winning Patterns

The prize table runs across the top of the screen as twelve small pattern icons. From the richest to the smallest they read BONUS x1500, BONUS x500, x350, x200, x100, x100, x40, x40, x10, x8, x3 and x3.

The multipliers apply to the bet on the card that completes the pattern. At 10 per card, the x350 pattern is worth 3,500 and the x3 patterns are worth 30. The two top entries carry a BONUS label, and they are the ones that lead towards the game’s bonus features. The published 3,000x maximum is twice the x1500 top pattern, but the game does not explain how that figure is reached.

The Draw and the Possibility Panel

After you press START, the game draws its balls one by one and lines them up along the top of the screen. In our round thirty balls came out before the draw stopped.

The most useful part of the screen is the Possibility panel on the left. It lists every number that would complete a pattern if it came out next, with the prize next to it. After the first draw our panel showed a total of 60: the number 43 for 30 and the number 83 for 30, both finishing small patterns. The same numbers are also marked on the cards, with the prize printed underneath.

Buying Extra Balls

When the regular draw ends, the golden door opens into ten empty slots and the game offers EXTRA BALL purchases. The price is not fixed. It depends on what the remaining numbers could still pay, so it rises as your cards get closer to the big patterns.

Our first extra ball cost 125, at a moment when the Possibility panel showed 3,430 in reach – most of it from the number 72, worth 3,400 on a single card. Later, with the BONUS 5,000 pattern one number away, the price of an extra ball climbed to 773. Each extra ball is a separate bet on the missing numbers.

Free Balls and Wild Balls

Some extra balls cost nothing. In our session one slot turned into a blue Free ball, which drew another number (13) without charging the balance.

The Wild ball is even better. A red W appears in the window, the screen shows Choose A Number with a ten-second timer, and you pick any number you like on your cards. We chose 72 – the number the Possibility panel valued at 3,400 – and it completed the pattern. The win counter jumped from 100 to 3,500, which is exactly the x350 pattern at 10 per card, or 87.5x the total bet of 40.

What Our Session Showed

The round started at a balance of 2,000.00. The first draw took the stake and paid 100 from a smaller pattern. We then bought extra balls, received one free ball and one wild ball, and the wild ball delivered the 3,500 win.

After that the bottom-left card was one number short of its BONUS 5,000 pattern, with 82 as the missing number. Chasing it with extra balls at rising prices brought the balance down to 868.00 by the last capture. The chase can cost more than the first win brought in.

The Numbers to Keep in Mind

Without a published RTP, the Possibility panel is the best guide you have. The older description of the game also mentions a Golden Balls bonus game and three collectible prize games. Those did not appear in our captures, so we cannot describe them from our own session.

Who Should Play It

Bingo Empire suits players who enjoy video bingo and like making choices during a round. The draw itself is automatic, but the extra-ball stage asks you to weigh the price against the prize every time.

If you prefer a slot where one press of the button settles the round, this is not the game. For a relaxed session, keep the extra-ball purchases in check and let the free and wild balls do the work.
