Pirate Joker - Hold and Win OverviewPirate Joker - Hold and Win is a three-reel, three-row slot from Felix Gaming with 5 paylines, a 96.15% RTP and a published ceiling of 4,000x. It was released on 15 May 2025. It takes the oldest shape in the business – fruits, bells and a seven on a three-by-three grid – and bolts two modern systems onto it: a rising line multiplier and a three-tier jackpot ladder. All figures below were read from demo play at a 15.00 bet. A Wreck, Not a BeachThe reels hang between two stacks of rum barrels lashed to the deck of a sunken ship. Ropes and rigging trail through the dark green water behind them, an anchor hangs at the top right, and a ship’s wheel sits in the top-left corner beside the logo. It is a genuinely gloomy piece of art for a fruit machine, and the contrast works: bright lemons and plums lit up inside a wreck at the bottom of the sea. Three Jackpots Across the TopThree prize panels run along the top of the screen: GRAND 15,000.00, MAJOR 3,000.00 and MINOR 450.00. At the 15.00 bet those convert to 1,000x, 200x and 30x. Note what that does not add up to. The published maximum is 4,000x, and the GRAND is only a quarter of it. So the ceiling is not a jackpot drop – it has to be a jackpot arriving on top of a multiplied line, which is exactly what the two side panels are for. One detail is easy to miss and worth stating: those three figures are identical in all nine captures. GRAND sits at 15,000.00 in the first shot and 15,000.00 in the last, with MAJOR and MINOR equally frozen. These are fixed cash prizes, not progressives – nothing is ticking upwards while you play, and nobody else’s spins are building the pot you are chasing. It also means the jackpots are worth more at a smaller stake: at 15.00 the GRAND is 1,000x, and at the minimum bet it is a far larger multiple of the money at risk. The Multiplier PanelOn the right rail, under the word MULTIPLIER, sits a red tile that reads x1, x2 or x3 across the captures. It is not a random symbol on the reels – it is a persistent state, displayed at all times. The win line spells the arithmetic out in full at the foot of the screen. One spin reads LINE 3 : 3 X PLUM X 2 : 30.00 – three plums are worth 15.00, and the x2 doubled it. Another reads LINE 5 : 3 X ORANGE X 3 : 36.00, tripling a 12.00 base. The largest captured line shows the effect at its best: LINE 3 : 3 X SEVEN X 2 : 120.00. Three sevens pay 60.00 on their own – 4x the bet – and the multiplier turned it into 8x. A separate capture catches the same line unmultiplied, LINE 3 : 3 X SEVEN : 60.00, which confirms the base figure exactly. Now the same arithmetic pointed the other way. One capture reads LINE 4 : 3 X BELL X 2 : 12.00. Three bells, doubled, against a 15.00 stake – the multiplier fired and the spin still lost money. That is the honest limit of the mechanic: it scales whatever the reels give you, and on this paytable the reels often give you very little. Across the nine captures the tile only ever showed x1, x2 or x3, and x1 as often as the other two. The Free Games CounterOn the left rail, a matching panel reads FREE GAMES with a number under it. It sits at 0 through most of the captures and reaches 3 in one of them, so spins are banked rather than awarded all at once. Between them the two rails give the game a permanent state you can read without opening a menu: how much the next line will be multiplied by, and how many free spins are waiting. The PaytableAt the 15.00 bet, three of a kind pays as follows. The joker pirate is the top symbol at 240.00 – 16x – then the seven at 60.00 (4x), grapes at 45.00 (3x), cherries at 21.00, lemon at 18.00, plum at 15.00, orange at 12.00 and the bell at the bottom on 6.00, which is 0.4x. Read the bottom of that list carefully. Three bells returns less than half the stake. On a five-line game with a three-by-three grid, a good proportion of hits are losses dressed up as wins – and that is what the multiplier exists to fix. The Wild, and What It Will Not CoverThe paytable states the wild’s rule precisely: This Symbol is a WILD. Symbol appears on all reels. Substitutes for all symbols, except CHEST. So the treasure chest is the game’s protected symbol – the one the wild cannot manufacture – which makes it the route into the hold-and-win round the title promises. Chests appear in the captures on the top and middle rows, waiting. The joker himself is drawn as a grinning pirate in a tricorn hat, hands raised, and the game labels him in gold letters – WILD – underneath the position he lands on. He is also the best-paying symbol at 16x, which is unusually generous for a wild that is already doing substitution work. One capture has two jokers on screen at once, on the first and second reels, and the win line reads LINE 4 : 3 X ORANGE X 2 : 24.00 – both of them standing in for oranges to complete a line that had only one real orange on it. On a three-by-three grid that is the wild doing most of the work. The paytable itself lives on page 3 of 4 of an in-game menu, beside SETTINGS and RULES, and it lists one figure per symbol: there are no two-of-a-kind pays on this game at all. What the Session ProducedThe captured balance is an honest picture of a low-bet grind: 808.00, 880.00, 970.00, then 694.00, 559.00, 265.00, and finally 181.00 before the last shot. Nine captures, and the trend is down. The wins along the way were 18.00, 24.00, 30.00, 36.00, 45.00, 60.00 and the single 120.00. Against a 15.00 stake, only two of those seven beat 3x. Who Should Play ItPirate Joker - Hold and Win is for players who like a classic three-reeler but want something accumulating in the background. The multiplier panel gives every spin a reason to matter, the jackpot ladder gives the session a target, and Felix has drawn the whole thing properly. The caution is the base paytable. With a bell at 0.4x and an orange at 0.8x, the reels themselves are close to decorative – the real money sits in the three panels around the edge of the screen. If the multiplier is on x1 and no chests land, this is a very quiet game. One note on the name: all six partner casinos and Felix’s own demo carry this as Pirate Joker - Hold and Win, which is the name we use here. Some catalogues shorten it to Pirate Joker – it is the same game. Where to Play Pirate Joker - Hold and WinYou can try this game on 7gold Online Casino.
