Pig Farm is the latest slot title announced by Fat Panda, an exclusive developing studio that crafts content for Pragmatic Play. The game will land in portrait mode, especially for mobile gambling fans. It offers a couple of bonus minigames that we have seen in many other slots, including several launched by the parent company. If the rural theme is the one you like, follow me for a quick tour.

Fat Panda is a relatively new iGaming studio that has been active since 2024. It strives to release 2 online slots per month, and for June, Pig Farm will follow Lucky Phoenix. The pace seems quite ambitious, and Fat Panda already has 18 released or upcoming titles. The company uses the resources of Pragmatic Play and crafts games only for the leading provider.

Seasoned gamblers will quickly find plenty of similarities between Fat Panda and other Pragmatic slots. Perhaps the first and most popular one is Wolf Gold, released in 2017. It boasts stacked wilds, Blazing Reels, Free Spins, and Money Respin. I will discuss the bonus features of Pig Farm later, but they are quite alike. Another similarity is the layout - 5 reels, 3 rows, and 25 paylines.

Symbols pay from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. That is no big surprise, and Fat Panda was not trying to reinvent slots with Pig Farm. You can accelerate the gameplay with Quickspin or make it turbo-fast via Autoplay and Turbo Spin. There are no Bonus Buy and Double Chance features here, so it is all decided by luck and betting strategies.

Pig Farm features several agricultural symbols, the common royalties, wilds, satters, and Coins. Pumpkins pay from 1x to 20x, Cabbage - from 0.80x to 16x, and Peppers award between 0.60x and 12x the bet. Trowels pay 0.40x to 8x, while Aces, Kings, Queens, and Jacks deliver from 0.20x to 2x the stake. The Pig is our wild symbol, which substitutes for all these and pays 1x, 10x, or 20x if lined up.

Although it is not mentioned in the menu, you will frequently spot stacked wilds on one or several reels. This fact is backed not only by the Wolf Gold mechanics, but also by my test play of the slot. Scatters will pay only if you land 3 or more at the same time, and if so, you will cash out 1x the bet.

The Pig Farm RTP ranges and the available rates are 96%, 95.49%, and 93.99%. Sadly, there is no official information from the provider regarding levels of volatility. The intro screen is showing 3.5 bars out of 5, or medium to high volatility, but my research shows that many analysts around the web consider the game to be low-variance.

On the other hand, you will enjoy an extremely high Hit Frequency rate in all stages - 41.84% or 1 in 2.39 spins on average. The betting range is also quite detailed and wide, offering numerous stake levels from €0.25 up to €125 per spin. The max win is also similar to Wolf Gold and other slots with similar features - 2,500x the bet.

Pig Farm Features

As I already mentioned, Pig Farm features stacked wilds and 2 bonus minigames. In other words, there is plenty to expect while spinning the mobile-view reels, except for line wins. The lack of Bonus Buy is a little old-school, given the fact that Fat Panda has access to many of Pragmatic’s resources. I’ll leave the judgment to you, and here are more details about the special features:

Money Respin Bonus

Money Respin starts when 6 or more Money Symbols hit the grid at the same time. Those Coins have random values of 1x to 10x, 14x, 16x, 18x, 20x, 24x, 30x, or 100x the bet. They can also carry one of the minor jackpots - Mini or Major. Money Respin starts with the triggering Coins stuck on their positions and 3 respins.

It is a classic Hold & Win, and players need to land more Coins to reset the counter. It all ends when no more respins are available or when the grid is filled with 15 Money Symbols. In case you are lucky to fit the second scenario, the engine will award the Mega Jackpot on top of your total win.

  • Mega Jackpot - 1,000x the bet

  • Major Jackpot - 100x the bet

  • Mini Jackpot - 30x the bet

Free Spins Bonus

Scatters are the key to Pig Farm’s Free Spins minigame. The triggering frequency is relatively scarce - 1 in 192.91 spins, at least compared to other online slots. Scatters can land on reels 1, 3, and 5 only, and if you spot 3 of them, you will receive 5 free spins. Unlimited retriggers are possible in the same way, but the batches are of 3 free spins each.

At the start of the bonus, reels 2, 3, and 4 merge and for the whole duration of the minigame, they will display a Mega Symbol. A special wild symbol and a special set of reels are in play during Free Spins. If you land a giant Money Symbol, it will start the Money Respin bonus and will be separated into 9 regular Money Symbols that will stick to their positions.

Theme & Graphics

Pig Farm is another Fat Panda slot with a Cartoonish theme and light-hearted gameplay. The rural motifs in the blurred background and pig-related images are nice and combined with the nice tunes, can do the relaxing job. However, neither the theme nor the script suggests any hard work from the design crew.

The game looks great on mobile devices, and it’s compatible with both Android and iOS systems. However, Pig Farm is not the most convenient spot to play on a desktop PC. Furthermore, it feels like another “filler” game to fit the virtual shelf of Pragmatic Play. For such a young studio, it is too early for Fat Panda to adopt such a practice.

You can try this game on AztecParadise Online Casino. There’s a unique casino bonus offer of 300% up to £2000 for a limited time.
