Joker's Wild Ride - Valentine's is a romantic seasonal edition of Spinomenal's joker-themed slot, released on 14 January 2025. A Joker in Love

The reels sit in a gold frame in front of a pink and burgundy harlequin pattern, with the title in gold and red above them. The high symbols are all Valentine's gifts: a diamond ring, a heart-shaped box of chocolates, a strawberry milkshake and a teddy bear holding a red heart. The low symbols are ornate A, K, Q and J letters in red, orange, gold and green.

The wild is the joker himself, a grinning jester in a red and white costume. On the base reels he appears as a single tile marked WILD, and in the free spins he stretches to cover a whole reel. Every paying spin is marked with a shower of gold coins and the amount in large gold digits across the middle of the reels, while the winning symbols glow inside pink frames.

The Paytable

All wins are multiplied by the bet per line. The diamond ring is the top symbol and pays 1,000x the line bet for five, 300x for four and 70x for three. The chocolate box pays 600x, 200x and 60x, and the milkshake and the teddy bear share 120x, 40x and 20x.

The letters are much smaller: A and K pay 40x, 20x and 15x, and Q and J pay 20x, 15x and 10x. At a line bet of 5, five diamond rings are worth 5,000 – 50x the total bet on a single line.

Because every win is a multiple of the line bet, the payouts on screen are easy to check. Four jacks pay 15x the line bet, which is 75 at a line bet of 5. Our 525 win with jacks across four reels therefore equals seven such lines – our own reading of the screen, since the game shows only the total. The same logic explains why the letters matter so much: they land often, and on a 5x4 grid a single row of letters can sit on several lines at once.

20 Lines on a Taller Grid

The extra fourth row gives the 20 lines more room to zigzag than on a classic 5x3 slot. Lines 1 to 4 run straight along the four rows, and the rest bend in V shapes and steps across the grid. All symbols pay from left to right starting on the leftmost reel, and only the highest win on each line is paid.

Free Spins with Expanding Wilds

The bonus is a round of 10 free spins with an expanding wilds feature. Whenever a joker lands in the free spins, he grows to fill his whole reel and the reels re-spin, so one lucky joker can turn several lines into winners at once.

In our round the jokers filled reels 1 and 3 from top to bottom, with four aces lined up on reels 4 and 5 beside a column of kings. With 7 free spins still to play the round stood at 820 on a bet of 40 – already 20.5x the stake.

Buy Feature Options

The BUY button next to the spin control opens a panel that triggers the free spins straight away. At a bet of 40 the game asked 1,600 for 10 free spins, which is 40x the bet. The game's configuration lists two bigger packages as well: 25 free spins for 100x and 50 free spins for 200x the bet.

The price per spin stays the same in all three packages – 4x the bet – so the larger options simply buy a longer round rather than a better one.

What the Session Did

At a total bet of 100 our base game paid 300, 175, 525 and 350 – between 1.75x and 5.25x. The 525 came from a row of jacks sweeping across four reels, the 350 from diamond rings stacked on the first reel with two jokers helping them along.

These are typical results for a 20-line game with a strong top symbol: frequent wins from the letters, with the bigger payouts saved for the rings, the chocolates and the free spins.
