Three Reels, One Line

The layout is as plain as it gets: three tall reels framed in chrome on a green, banknote-patterned background, with a dollar-coin emblem on either side and the MO MO MOOLAH logo on top. There are no paylines to count and no grid to scan – everything happens on the single middle row.

What makes the reels unusual is what they carry. Instead of fruit or sevens, the symbols are cash values, digits, bundles of banknotes and multipliers. In one of our base-game spins the three reels showed a “1”, a 5.00 value and a stack of notes, and the game paid 5.00.

Choosing the Active Reels

At the bottom left there is an Active Reel selector, set to 3 in all of our screenshots. The game lets you decide how many of the three reels take part in the spin, which changes how the stake is spread and how the features can land. We played with all three reels active throughout.

It’s Raining Moolah

The feature is called It’s Raining Moolah. When it triggers, the logo lights up with banknotes pouring down the screen, and the game switches to The Big Reel – a single wide reel that spins with the feature name on it before the bonus begins.

Inside the bonus the reels change job. The first reel carries a cash value, and the second and third reels carry multipliers such as x2, x3 and x10. A counter on the left keeps track of the bonus spins. The win is simply the value on the first reel multiplied by the two multipliers.

What Our Bonus Showed

We played at a 50.00 stake. The screenshots let us check the maths exactly:

• A 50.00 value with x2 and x2 paid 200.00 – 50 × 2 × 2.
• A 50.00 value with x3 and x10 paid 1,500.00 – 50 × 3 × 10, or 30x the bet.

The two multipliers multiply each other rather than add up, which is where the game’s volatility comes from. Two small multipliers give a modest result; a large one on the third reel turns the same cash value into a big win. The 20,000x ceiling is only reachable when high values meet high multipliers on both reels.

Reading the Counter

The Counter box on the left of the bonus screen is the one piece of information to watch during the feature. It moved between 1 and 2 in our screenshots while the win meter underneath the reels kept a running total – it read 205.00 when the 1,500.00 result arrived, which is the earlier 5.00 base win plus the 200.00 bonus spin. The big result is then added on top, so the meter always shows what the bonus has produced so far.

Buying the Feature

The Bonus Buy menu offers It’s Raining Moolah (all 3 reels play). At a 50.00 bet the price was 2,300.00 – 46x the stake. That puts our 1,500.00 bonus spin into perspective: a single strong result can return most of the price, but it takes a good combination of multipliers to beat it.
