Slap It Overview

Slap It is an instant-win game from KA Gaming, released on 16 May 2023. There are no reels at all: the whole screen is an old wooden television set on a cabinet, and each round is one slap on top of the set. SlotCatalog lists a 96% RTP; no volatility or maximum win is published.

How a Round Works

You set the total bet and press play. A white cartoon glove swings in and slaps the TV, the screen flickers through a colour test pattern, and then it settles on a picture. What the picture shows decides the result. If the screen stays grey with static, the round pays nothing and the banner at the top simply reads “Good Luck” again.

What Can Appear on the Screen

According to SlotCatalog’s description, there are three winning pictures – gold coins, Bugs Bunny and Charlie Chaplin – and each pays a different amount depending on the bet. The same source mentions a built-in Lucky Draw Feature with multipliers from 5x to 100x. We did not trigger the Lucky Draw in our session, so we cannot show it here.

Our Session

We played at a total bet of $2,000 per slap in the free-play mode. Two of our slaps ended on static and on the colour test pattern, with the balance at $87,800 and then $85,800 – exactly one stake apart. In another round a black-and-white figure with a bowler hat and cane – the Chaplin picture – appeared on the screen, and the game announced a win of $2,400, which is 1.2x the bet.

The Look of the Game

KA Gaming leans fully into the retro idea. The set has a curved screen, two rotary dials, small knobs for volume and contrast and a woven speaker grille, and it stands on a wooden cabinet against sepia wallpaper. Wins burst across the screen in large gold numbers, and the banner at the top switches between “Good Luck” and the amount won.
