Million Christmas 3 is the third entry in Red Rake’s festive series, released on 4 December 2025. It runs on 1,000,000 ways, returns 95.4% at high volatility and tops out at 10,000x the bet. The million in the title is the way count, and it is not a rounding of something smaller.

A Village Under Snow

The grid occupies the middle third of the screen, with scenery filling the rest. On the left, a snowy village at night – lit windows, a church spire, two large wrapped presents in the foreground – and on the right a pink and blue winter sky over rooftops. The PAY TABLE button sits on a scroll at the bottom left.

The grid itself is the unusual part. Most of its positions are dark and inactive, showing a carved face motif rather than a symbol, with the live positions lit among them. It is how a million ways is reached without an unplayably large board: the shape of the active area changes from spin to spin.

Everything Pays From Two

At the €10.00 total bet our session ran at, for five, four, three and two of a kind:

Every symbol in the game pays for a pair, which on a million ways means something lands on almost every spin. Santa is worth 50x the bet for five and 2x for just two of him – and the gap between Santa and the next symbol down is a factor of nearly seven, which is the widest premium gap in this batch.

Below Santa the table compresses hard. The bells and the candy cane are identical, the ace and king share a value, and the queen and jack share another. Seven symbols, four tiers.

Three Rules Printed Under The Table

Red Rake sets out the conditions in three short lines, and each one matters:

“All combinations are paid from left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel.” – so this is a ways game, not a cluster game; a symbol on the second and fourth reels with nothing on the third pays nothing.

“The snowflake symbol substitutes for all symbols except the Santa and elf symbols.” – two symbols are excluded from the wild, and the second of them gets its own section headed SANTA’S ELF SYMBOL.

“If a winning combination pays more than one win, the highest win is paid.” – you are not paid twice for overlapping results. On a board with a million ways that clause is doing real work.

The Wins Accumulate

This is a cascading game, and the WIN box on the right adds up as the board resolves. Individual combinations flash their value in the centre of the grid – ours showed 8.00, 20.00, 36.00 and 50.00 at various points – while the running total climbed behind them.

Across four screenshots the box read €6.00, €15.84, €33.37 and €108.54. Against the €10 stake that last figure is 10.85x, built out of a chain of small combinations rather than one big hit.

The 15.84 and 33.37 are worth noticing for the cents: cascading wins land on odd amounts because they are sums of many small parts.

A Counter That Only Goes Up

A green oval sits on the right edge of the frame carrying a number, and it grew steadily through the session: 14, then 20, then 48.

It is a collection counter, and it feeds the meter on the opposite edge – a tall vertical bar reading FREE SPINS at the top and BONUS down its length, with +2, +4 and +8 marked at three points along it.

So the structure is a slow accumulation with three staged rewards: two extra spins, then four, then eight. Nothing is lost between spins, which makes a session feel like progress even when the reels are quiet.

Santa Is Two Symbols, Not One

The top row of the paytable shows two portraits side by side sharing a single set of values – Santa himself and a second festive character next to him. Both pay 500.00, 250.00, 100.00 and 20.00.

That doubles the number of premium symbols on the board without changing the top of the table. Where most slots have one symbol worth 50x and starve you of it, this one has two – which explains why the drop to the green star at 75.00 is so steep.

The Wild Cannot Help The Best Symbols

The exclusion clause deserves its own thought. The snowflake wild substitutes for everything except Santa and the elf – meaning the two most valuable outcomes in the game must be assembled from the symbols themselves, with no assistance.

That is the standard way of protecting a paytable’s top end, but it matters here. On a million-ways board a wild joins every path running through its position; barring it from the premiums makes it a low-and-middle-symbol tool. When one lands, the realistic upside is a chain of bells and card symbols, not a Santa line.

95.4% At High Volatility

The return is below average, and the shape of the game explains where it goes. A million ways, every symbol paying from a pair, chaining cascades, a three-tier collection counter, free spins and a bonus all have to be funded – and the paytable is what pays for them.

The high volatility rating and the 10,000x ceiling belong together. Five Santas are 50x; getting to ten thousand needs a long cascade chain on a well-filled board deep inside the feature, not a lucky line. Our balance fell from €868 to €226 over the session, with the 108.54 spin the only real relief – which is what high variance looks like in practice.

Everything scales with the stake. Our screenshots were taken at €10.00, where five Santas pay €500 and a pair pays €20. Halve the bet and every figure halves; the multiples – 50x on Santa, 10,000x as the ceiling – never move.
