5 Boost Clover is a fruit slot from Felix Gaming, released on 21 October 2025. It plays on a 5x3 grid with 5 paylines and the ceiling is printed on the feature screen: WIN UP TO 2000 X BET. Felix’s own data sheet confirms it – maximum exposure 2,000x total bet – and lists three different RTP configurations.

Fruit In A Dark Forest

The reels float in a night forest, fireflies drifting between dark trunks, everything lit in green. It is a considerably moodier setting than the symbols deserve: grapes, a lemon, a plum, cherries, an orange, a watermelon, a golden bell, a red 7 and a blue diamond.

A green four-leaf clover is the wild and a golden dollar sign is the scatter. The LINE BOOST button sits on its own panel down the left edge, and a CHOOSE LINE selector runs across the top.

The Paytable

At the 40.00 bet our session ran at, for five, four and three of a kind:

The scatter is the biggest number on the table by a factor of two and a half, and the rules note explains why it is worth watching: “Symbol appears on all reels. Scatter pays on any position.” Five dollar signs anywhere on the grid are worth 500x the bet, with no line required.

Below it the table halves neatly – 200x, 100x, 50x, 40x for the diamond, seven, bell and plum, then 20x and 10x for the fruit. The diamond also pays for two of a kind, which nothing else does.

A Wild That Only Expands When It Helps

The clover has a rule worth quoting because it removes a common frustration:

“This Symbol is a WILD and appears on all reels. Expand and substitutes for all symbols in all positions on that reel. Wild symbol only expand if a winning combination is possible.”

That last clause is the good part. In most games an expanding wild fills its reel regardless, sometimes destroying a symbol you needed. Here it stays as a single clover unless expanding actually pays, so the animation is never a tease. One of our spins caught it filling the third reel completely and returning 240.00.

The expanded wild substitutes for everything except the scatter.

The Line Boost, And What It Costs

This is the mechanic the whole series is named for, and Felix states it on the panel: “BOOST YOUR FAVORITE LINES WITH X2, X3 OR X5 MULTIPLIER”.

The screen shows all five paylines as small diagrams, each with its own x2 / x3 / x5 selector and its own bet readout. Buttons underneath read CLEAR, CONFIRM and ALL LINES, so you can boost one line, some, or every one of them.

The cost is visible in the arithmetic. With a line bet of 0.03, five lines come to 0.15. With every line switched to x2, the panel showed a TOTAL BET of 0.30 – exactly double. In other words a x2 boost adds one extra line bet to that line, which matches what we measured on the ten-line version of this game. The pattern implies x3 costs two extra line bets and x5 costs four.

That is a fair deal on the face of it: you pay double to double a line’s wins. What you are really buying is concentration – the same money spread over fewer, bigger lines rather than more, smaller ones.

The Boost On Screen

Once confirmed, small x2 badges appear under the boosted positions on the grid itself, so you can see at a glance which lines are carrying the multiplier.

Our boosted spins paid 480.00 from a screen of plums and cherries running diagonally, and 240.00 from a triangle of grapes. Against the 40.00 bet those are 12x and 6x – respectable for a five-line fruit machine, and roughly double what the same screens would have paid unboosted.

Three RTP Settings

Felix publishes a detail most studios do not. Its own game page lists the return for 5 Boost Clover as 96.17%, 94.94% and 92.78% – three configurations, and it is the operator who chooses which one runs.

That is a spread of nearly three and a half percentage points, which matters far more to a session than most of the numbers players actually compare. The figure we carry on our data sheet is the highest of the three; whether you get it depends on the casino, not the game. The same page gives the bet range as €0.05 to €100.

A Respin Feature

The paytable screen is headed RESPIN, which is the second feature and the natural partner to a game with a scatter that pays anywhere. Felix builds respins into most of the Boost line – a near miss on the scatter is held while the remaining reels turn again.

What The Bet Changes

Everything scales with the stake, and the boost scales with it too. Our screenshots were taken at 40.00, where five diamonds pay 8,000 and five scatters 20,000. At the €0.05 minimum every figure falls proportionally; the multiples – 500x on the scatter, 200x on the diamond, 2,000x as the ceiling – never move.
