Masquerade Overview

Masquerade is a Venetian ballroom slot from Eurasian Gaming. It uses a 6x5 grid where symbols pay anywhere on the screen, winning symbols tumble away to make room for new ones, and a free spins round adds multipliers that build into a total multiplier. A Night at the Ball

The grid is set in a candle-lit ballroom with chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and a couple in evening dress and masks stands to the right of the reels. The premium symbols are four carnival masks – purple and gold, white with feathers, green, and a blue harlequin – and the low symbols are the card ranks from 10 to A, drawn in gold. The scatter is a golden mask with feathers.

Two panels sit on the left: a higher chance to win feature switch and a Buy Feature button. The bet is set with a bet multiplier in the bottom bar; our 0.50 multiplier meant a total bet of 10.00 USD.

The Paytable

Symbols pay when 8 or more of them land anywhere on the grid, in three bands: 8–9, 10–11 and 12–30. At a 10.00 USD bet the purple mask pays 100, 200 and 400 USD – 10x, 20x and 40x the bet. The white mask pays 25, 50 and 200, the green mask 20, 50 and 150, and the blue harlequin 15, 20 and 120.

The card ranks follow: A pays 10, 15 and 100, K 8, 12 and 80, Q 6, 10 and 50, J 5, 10 and 40, and the 10 pays 3, 9 and 20. Even the lowest symbol reaches 2x the bet if 12 or more of them fill the grid.

Tumbles

After every win the paying symbols disappear and new ones drop into their places, and the counter at the top of the screen adds up the whole sequence. One of our spins started with a small cluster of Q symbols for 6.00 USD. Another paid 12.00 USD for a group of A symbols and then tumbled into a second win, taking the sequence to 15.00 USD (1.5x).

The Scatter and Free Spins

The golden mask scatter pays on any position: 4 scatters pay 30 USD (3x), 5 pay 50 USD (5x) and 6 pay 1,000 USD (100x). Four or more also award the free spins round. In our session four scatters landed together, paid 30.00 USD and triggered 15 free spins.

During the free spins the background turns deep red, and multiplier symbols can land on the grid – we saw a 4x mask among them. Each multiplier is added to the total multiplier shown on the left, which kept growing through the round and stood at 26x in one of our captures.

How Our Round Ended

The win counter showed 194.00 USD during the free spins, and the session finished the round with a total of 368.00 USD – 36.8x the bet from a natural trigger.

Power Play: Buy Feature and Fast Play

The Welcome to Power Play screen offers two options. The Buy-Bonus Feature costs 1,000.00 USD at a 10.00 USD bet – 100x – and starts the free spins on the next round. The Fast-Play Feature runs a chosen number of rounds (100 by default) instantly and shows the resulting win, stopping if a bonus is triggered.

The higher chance to win feature raises the stake from 10.00 to 12.50 USD – 1.25x – in exchange for better odds of reaching the free spins.
