Mahjong King OverviewMahjong King is a mahjong-tile slot from Eurasian Gaming, released on 6 August 2025. It plays on a 4-5-5-5-4 reel layout with 2,000 ways to win. SlotCatalog lists low-medium volatility, a hit frequency of 37.35% and stakes from $0.20 to $40. Neither the RTP nor a maximum win is published for the game, so we do not quote them. Eurasian Gaming does not offer an embeddable free demo for this title, so there is no playable game on this page. Everything below comes from our own screenshots. The game showed 2.50 per way and a total bet of 50.00. A Temple CourtyardThe reels stand inside a red temple gateway with cherry blossom branches in front, and two golden dragons curl around the sides of the screen. The symbols are mahjong tiles: flower and season tiles with a plum blossom, a lotus, maple leaves and a blue snowflake, plus circle and bamboo tiles in several counts. A red tile with a golden character is the scatter. The PaytableThe info page prints the prizes in cash for the current bet. At 50.00 the plum blossom tile pays 125.00 for five, 62.50 for four and 25.00 for three – 2.5x the bet for five across the reels. The lotus pays 100.00, 50.00 and 20.00, and the maple leaves 75.00, 37.50 and 15.00. The snowflake pays 37.50, 25.00 and 12.50. The circle and bamboo tiles run from 30.00 down to 15.00 for five, with 2.50 as the smallest prize for three. These are per-combination values, so they add up quickly when the same tile appears in several positions on each reel. Put against the 50.00 bet, three plum blossoms return 0.5x and three of the cheapest bamboo tiles only 0.05x. Single combinations are small, which is why the multiplier trail matters so much in this game. How the 2,000 Ways WorkThe reels are shaped like a shallow diamond: four tiles on the outer reels and five on the three middle reels. Multiplying the positions – 4 × 5 × 5 × 5 × 4 – gives the 2,000 ways. A win needs the same tile on adjacent reels from the left, and every extra copy of a tile on a reel adds another way. In our 225.00 base-game capture the winning tiles were spread across several rows of the first reels and still counted as one tile combination. Cascades and Gold TilesWinning tiles burst and disappear, and new ones fall into their place, so one spin can pay several times. Some tiles carry a gold frame. SlotCatalog describes these as turning into wilds when they are part of a win, and in our captures the gold tiles sat right in the middle of the winning clusters. The Multiplier TrailA trail above the reels shows the win multiplier. In the base game it reads x1, x2, x3 and x5, and it moves up one step with each cascade in the same spin. One of our base-game wins was 220.00 x3, which the game paid as 660.00 – 13.2x the bet from a single sequence. Free SpinsThree or more scatter tiles trigger 10 free spins, and each additional scatter adds 2 more. In the free spins the trail is doubled to x2, x4, x6 and x10. Our round started with three scatters, and individual free spins paid 825.00 and 1,650.00. By free spin 7 of 10 the win counter stood at 8,380.00, and the round finished at 8,920.00 – 178.4x the bet. The round also changes the look of the game. The screen turns gold, a Free Spins counter appears on the left beside the logo, and at one point both dragons breathed fire across the reels during a cascade. The trail showed x6 lit when the 825.00 spin landed and x10 lit for the 1,650.00 spin, as far as we can read the highlights – a clear sign of how much of the round’s value came from the multiplier. The Scatter TileThe scatter is a red tile with a golden character, and it can land anywhere on the grid. In the trigger capture three of them sat together on the left side of the reels, and the game announced “Congratulations, you won freespins!” before the 10 free spins began. The info page adds that every scatter beyond the third awards two more spins. Buy Bonus and Fast PlayThe Power Play menu offers two options. The Buy-Bonus Feature costs 4,000.00 at a 50.00 bet, which is 80x, and starts the free spins on the next round. The Fast-Play Feature runs a set number of rounds automatically – 100 by default – and stops if a bonus is triggered so it can be played out. Our natural round paid more than twice the buy price, although one round says little about the average return of the buy. The Numbers to Keep in MindA 37.35% hit frequency means more than one spin in three returns something, and the low-medium volatility keeps the base game steady. The real value is in the free spins, where the x10 end of the trail can turn modest tile wins into large totals. Our balance shows the pattern clearly. It moved between about 9,700 and 10,600 in the base game, dropped to 6,627.50 before the bonus arrived, and stood at 15,547.50 after the free spins had paid 8,920.00. In other words, the base game kept the session alive and the free spins made the profit. Who Should Play ItMahjong King suits players who like cascading ways games with a clear multiplier to follow. The tile artwork is clean and easy to read, and the doubled free-spin trail gives the bonus a real purpose. Players who want a published RTP or a stated maximum win will not find either for this title. Where to Play Mahjong KingYou can try this game on SunClub Online Casino.
