Magical Ocean OverviewMagical Ocean is a fish-shooting arcade game from KA Gaming, released on 7 August 2024. Instead of spinning reels, you aim a cannon at sea creatures swimming across an underwater arena, and every creature you bring down pays a multiple of your shot. SlotCatalog classes it as a shooting game with bonus symbols and multipliers, with shots from $0.01 to $10; it lists no RTP, volatility or maximum win, and KA Gaming does not publish them either. The figures below come from our own demo session, played at $1.00 per shot. Three Rooms, Three Stake LevelsThe game opens with a choice of three rooms, each guarded by its own mascot. Bronze, with a startled pufferfish, takes shots from $0.01 to $0.10. Silver, with a grinning shark, runs from $0.10 to $1.00. Gold, with a three-headed golden dragon, covers $1.00 to $10.00. The prompt underneath simply reads “Please choose a room”, and the room decides the range of your shot size for the rest of the session. A Shared ReefThe arena is a coral reef seen from above, with green anemones, purple sea fans and rocks around the edges. It is a shared table: the seats around the screen carry other players' IDs and the empty ones show “Waiting for player”. Your cannon sits at the bottom with the shot size on a plus-minus selector, and three round weapon buttons sit to its left. The PaytableThe paytable runs over nine pages. On the page we captured, the six regular creatures pay as multiples of the shot: a purple fish with a halo 50x, the brown shark 40x, a creature in a pink ring 30x, the dolphin 20x, the swordfish 15x and a leafy sea creature 10x. The small reef fish that fill the screen pay less, and the other pages cover the larger targets and special weapons. Treasure ChestsTreasure chests drift across the reef like any other target. When one breaks open, it spills coins and shows its prize in a blue banner. The first chest we opened paid $4.31 on a $1.00 shot. Later, a much bigger chest burst in a shower of gold coins and paid $197.00, with a second award of $156.12 counting up next to it – close to 200x the shot for a single capture. Special WeaponsOne of the captures shows a huge glowing sword crashing down through the middle of the reef in a column of lightning. Another shows a chain of rainbow shock rings rippling across the screen, with prizes of $1.72, $2.49, $3.00, $5.00, $8.00 and $10.00 popping up on the fish they caught, and a $115.00 award on a larger target at the edge. These area weapons are where most of the bigger results in our session came from. How the Session WentThe balance moved from $99,927 at the start of our captures to $99,968, then $99,986, and reached $100,125 after the big chest, before settling at $100,122. That is the typical rhythm of a fish shooter: a steady trickle of small costs for every shot, broken up by occasional large captures that pull the balance back up. What the Multipliers Mean in MoneyBecause every prize is a multiple of the shot, the room you pick changes the scale of everything. In Bronze at $0.01, the 50x halo fish returns $0.50. At our $1.00 shot it returns $50, and at the Gold room’s $10.00 maximum it would return $500. The same arithmetic applies to the chests: the $197.00 chest we saw at $1.00 would be worth around $1,970 at a $10.00 shot. The bottom bar marks the session as freeplay, so none of these amounts were real money. Other KA Gaming ShootersKA Gaming has built several fish and arena shooters on the same room-and-multiplier model. If you like Magical Ocean, Danger Zone, Golden Strike, Galactic Bounty Hunter and Monster Destroyer play in a similar way with different themes and targets. Who Should Play ItMagical Ocean suits players who enjoy arcade shooting and want to control how fast they spend, since every shot is a separate small stake. The three rooms make it easy to start in Bronze at a cent per shot and move up once you know the targets. Without a published RTP or maximum win, the paytable multipliers and the chests are the best guide to what the game can pay. Where to Play Magical OceanYou can try this game on SunClub Online Casino.
