Mad Hit Gold Overview

Mad Hit Gold is a 3x3 coin slot from Ruby Play, released on 12 January 2026. There are no paylines: every win comes from coin prizes and the Mad Hit symbol. Ruby Play lists an RTP of 96.36%, medium/high volatility, a hit frequency of 20.45% and a maximum win of 3,300x the bet, with bets from 0.10 to 75.

Bullion and Blue Lightning

The grid is a dark purple panel with a pile of gold bars on top, set against a background of crackling blue electricity. Empty positions show a crossed-out disc, and the prizes arrive as bronze, silver and gold coins with their value printed on the face. The Mad Hit symbol is a glowing badge with lightning bolts, and it only appears on the middle reel.

Coins of Three Metals

The prize coins come in three finishes. In our captures bronze coins carried 10, 20 and 80, and a silver coin carried 30; the gold coins are the ones the base game adds to the hoard. The number on a coin is its cash prize at the current bet, which is why a 20 coin and a 10 coin were worth €20 and €10 at our €20 stake.

Four Jackpots

Four plaques sit above the grid. At €20 they read GRAND €20,000, MAJOR €4,000, MINOR €1,200 and MINI €600 – 1,000x, 200x, 60x and 30x the bet. Ruby Play says the jackpots can be won alongside the coin prizes.

Mad Hit Instant Win

When the Mad Hit symbol lands on reel 2 together with coins on reel 1 or reel 3, it collects them on the spot. Ruby Play says each coin can pay up to 100x the bet. In one of our spins the badge and a single coin both showed 80, and the game announced “Mad Hit Instant Win pays €80.00” – 4x the stake.

Collect and Win

With coins on both sides of the Mad Hit symbol, or through the Mad Hit Collection, the game starts Collect and Win. You get 3 respins, and every new coin or Mad Hit symbol resets the count to 3. When the respins run out, every prize on the grid is paid.

One round opened with a 20 coin on reel 1 and a 10 coin on reel 3, and it ended with “Mad Hit Collect and Win pays €720.00” – 36x the stake. In another capture the badge itself showed 170, with a silver 30 and a bronze 20 beside it and a small level bar marked 1, 2 and 3 under the symbol.

Mad Hit Collection and the Buy

In the base game every gold coin you land is added to a hoard, and according to Ruby Play any collected coin can trigger the Mad Hit Collection, which adds more prize or Mad Hit symbols to the grid.

The Buy Feature starts Collect and Win directly. At €20 the game asked us to confirm a price of €1,000, which is 50x the bet.

Playing at Other Stakes

Bets run from 0.10 to 75, and the Buy Feature is priced at 50x whatever stake is selected; a Buy Feature panel on the left of the grid shows the current price. Turbo and Auto buttons sit next to the spin button, and the cash balance and the total bet are always shown along the bottom bar.
