Joker Fortune Blitz 2 Overview

Joker Fortune Blitz 2 is the sequel to Kalamba Games’ 2022 hit, and it keeps the formula that made the first game work: a joker, a row of sevens, a handful of fruit and a Cashpot ladder that can climb from a small prize to a life-changing one. The studio launched it on 4 November 2024.

The numbers from Kalamba’s own game portfolio set the tone. The volatility is rated 9 out of 10, the hit frequency is 21%, and the maximum coinciding win is 10,645x the bet. This is a game built for players who accept long quiet stretches in exchange for a genuine shot at a large result.

The grid is 6 reels by 5 rows with 25 fixed paylines, one reel wider than a standard video slot. All figures below were read from demo play at a bet of 80 in the demo’s FUN currency.

Theme and Graphics

The look is neon casino rather than circus. Deep blue lightning bolts crackle behind the reels, and a gold-framed grid holds a set of symbols that anyone who has played a fruit machine will recognise: cherries, plums, grapes, oranges and lemons at the low end, then three coloured sevens and a sparkling blue diamond above them.

The joker himself is the Wild – a grinning jester in a green and gold hat who lands with a WILD banner across his chest. He also greets you on the free spins screen, spreading his arms over a pile of fruit.

Above the reels sits a row of six small panels, one per column. In the base game they are mostly empty, but during features they fill with coin values, and this is where the game keeps track of what each column has collected.

The Paytable

At an 80 bet the Wild is the best-paying symbol: six on a line pay 800 (10x), five pay 320, four pay 160 and three pay 40. The blue diamond comes next at 480 for six, then 240, 120 and 32.

The three sevens are split into two levels. The red seven pays 320 for six, 160 for five, 80 for four and 24 for three. The green and the blue seven share an identical row: 200, 80, 40 and 16. The fruit sits below those on the second page of the paytable.

That top line value of 10x for six Wilds is modest next to the game’s ceiling, which tells you straight away where the real money lives – not on the paylines, but in the Cashpots.

The Cashpot Ladder

Down the left side of the screen runs the feature that gives the game its name: a ladder of six Cashpots, each tied to a number of lightning symbols collected. At the 80 bet the lower rungs read 800, 1,600, 4,000 and 16,000 for 20, 40, 60 and 80 lightning bolts – that is 10x, 20x, 50x and 200x.

The two top rungs are dimmed in the base game and show 80,000 and 800,000. At an 80 bet those are 1,000x and 10,000x. The top Cashpot is therefore essentially the game’s ceiling; the published maximum of 10,645x is that prize plus whatever the reels and coins add alongside it.

A counter above the ladder shows how many lightning symbols have been collected. In one of our bought free spins rounds it reached 51, which put us past the 40 rung but short of 60.

Blitz Mode and HyperBet

A label beneath the grid reads “Triggers Blitz Mode”. Blitz Mode is started by Cashpot symbols, and at the end of it the game pays a cash prize plus one of the six Cashpot levels, according to Kalamba’s own description.

Two buttons below the grid control the HyperBet. Standard Mode plays the game as normal, while 2X Chance, as its label says, doubles the chance of triggering the feature. In our demo the 2X Chance option was highlighted throughout.

Bonus stars also appear on the reels in the base game. We saw three of them land in a single spin, spread across the first, third and fourth columns.

Free Spins

Three bonus stars award 8 free spins. The award screen also explains the accumulator: every three bonus accumulator symbols collected add three more free spins, tracked on a vertical meter with three star slots on the right of the grid.

The free spins round is played on a golden background and expands the Blitz mode, so coin values collect in the column panels above the reels. In one round we saw the panels show 380, 20, 560 and 168, with two columns still empty.

That particular round paid 136.00 after 10 of 11 spins – 1.7x the bet. The extra spin shows the accumulator had already done its job once.

Buy Bonus

The Buy Bonus menu offers three versions of the free spins round, and the prices scale with the number of spins. At the 80 bet:

6 free spins cost 1,600 (20x), 8 free spins cost 3,200 (40x) and 10 free spins cost 8,000 (100x). The jump from eight to ten spins is steep: two extra spins cost two and a half times as much.

During a bought round the BET field shows the purchase price rather than the base stake, so do not be alarmed to see 8,000 displayed there.

What Our Bought Round Did

We bought the 10-spin option for 8,000. The round ran all the way to 37 spins – the accumulator added spins repeatedly – and the column panels filled with values up to 1,000.

The final count was 16,368.00, which is about 204x the 80 base bet and roughly double the 8,000 purchase price. A good result, and a clear picture of how the free spins can snowball once the extra-spin meter keeps filling.

How It Compares to the Original

The first Joker Fortune Blitz used a 6x4 grid. The sequel adds a fifth row, keeps the 25 lines, and adds the buy menu with three tiers and the revamped HyperBet. Kalamba lists the same 9/10 volatility and the same 10,645x maximum for both games, so the sequel is not a riskier game – it is a busier one.

There is no gamble feature, and the game does not pay both ways. It is a straightforward left-to-right line game with a very large Cashpot on top.

Who Should Play It

Joker Fortune Blitz 2 suits players who enjoy classic fruit-machine symbols but want modern features on top. The line wins are small – 10x is the best a single line can do – so the appeal lies entirely in the Cashpot ladder and the free spins.

Kalamba does not publish an RTP figure for this game in its portfolio, so we have not stated one here. With a 9/10 volatility rating, a sensible bankroll and patience are essential.
