Gates of Wealth is a 6x5 video slot from Eurasian Gaming, set high in the clouds in front of a palace gate. Next to the reels stands the god of wealth in red robes, holding a golden ingot, and the symbols are gems, coins and lucky charms that pay anywhere on the grid. The game was released on 9 August 2024 and is built around tumbling wins, a free spins round with a growing multiplier and a feature you can buy outright.

Game Specifications

The grid has six reels and five rows, and there are no paylines. Wins are paid for eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the screen. SlotCatalog lists the variance as medium-high and the maximum win as 500x the stake, with bets from 0.20 to 40 per spin.

No RTP has been published for Gates of Wealth, either by Eurasian Gaming or by SlotCatalog, so we cannot quote a return-to-player figure. SlotCatalog does give a hit frequency of 23.73%, which means roughly one spin in four produces a win.

The stake is set with a Bet Multiplier in the control bar. In our session a multiplier of 5.00 gave a total bet of 100, and all the amounts quoted in this review are at that stake. The bar also holds the info button, the Buy and Auto buttons and the balance, total bet and win displays.

Theme and Graphics

The reels sit inside a gold-trimmed red frame, with pink clouds, a temple roof and falling blossoms in the background. The god of wealth stands on a cloud to the right of the reels, and in the free spins pink cherry blossom fills the sky behind the grid.

The symbols are bright and easy to tell apart: a gold ingot, a jade coin, red lucky charms, a green cabbage and five coloured gems in red, purple, gold, green and blue. When a win lands, the symbols glow with lightning before they disappear.

Pay Anywhere and Tumbles

After every win the winning symbols are removed and new ones fall into their place. This tumble continues as long as new wins appear, and the total of the whole sequence is shown in the Tumble Win box above the reels.

In one spin a group of jade coins paid 1,000 on a 100 bet – ten times the stake – as part of a longer tumble sequence. Smaller groups of gems paid 80 and 120 in other spins.

The symbols do not need to touch each other. In the 80 win, the purple gems were spread over several reels and rows, and the game still counted them as one group. This is what makes pay-anywhere slots feel different from line games: you only watch the number of matching symbols, not where they land.

Paytable

The paytable is split into three bands: 8–9, 10–11 and 12–30 symbols. At a 100 bet the gold ingot pays 1,000, 2,500 and 5,000, the jade coin 250, 1,000 and 2,500, and the red charm 200, 500 and 1,500. The cabbage pays 150, 200 and 1,200.

The gems pay less: the red gem 100, 150 and 1,000, the purple gem 80, 120 and 800, the gold gem 50, 100 and 500, the green gem 40, 90 and 400 and the blue gem 25, 75 and 200. The top prize for regular symbols is therefore 50 times the bet, for twelve or more gold ingots.

Scatters and Free Spins

The scatter is the god of wealth himself, with a SCATTER label. It also pays on its own: four scatters pay 3x the bet, five pay 5x and six pay 100x. In our session four scatters paid 300 on a 100 bet.

Four or more scatters on any position award the free spins, and we received 15 free spins. A counter on the right shows the spins left.

The six-scatter prize of 100x is a large part of the game’s top end. Compared with the 500x maximum win, it shows that the scatters matter for more than just starting the bonus.

Multipliers in the Free Spins

During the free spins a Total Multiplier box appears on the left. Multiplier symbols, such as the green 2x charm we saw, land on the reels and add their value to the total. In one spin the total multiplier stood at 5x with eight free spins left, and the win for the round had reached 1,120.

Earlier in the same round, with 14 free spins left, a group of purple gems paid 120, and the round total was already above 379. The pink blossom background and the free spins counter make it easy to see at a glance that the feature is running.

The multiplier is the key to the bigger results in this game: the base-game wins we saw stayed between roughly one and ten times the bet.

Buy Feature and Higher Chance

The Buy Feature button on the left gives direct access to the free spins for 100 times the bet – 10,000 at our 100 stake. Above it is a Higher Chance to Win Feature switch, which raises the bet to 125 for a better chance of triggering the free spins.

With a 500x maximum win, buying the feature for 100x is a big risk, and it is worth trying the game at a low stake first.

The buy window shows the price clearly before you confirm. When we opened it, the Higher Chance switch was on and the total bet showed 125, while the feature price stayed at 10,000.

Who Should Play It

Gates of Wealth suits players who like pay-anywhere slots with tumbles and a free spins round that builds up. The medium-high variance means longer quiet spells than in a classic line slot, but the multiplier in the free spins gives the feature real potential.

Since no RTP is published, we would keep the stake small at first and watch how often the scatters appear. Players who prefer a published return figure or a calmer game may want to look at a lower-variance slot instead.
