Duck Hunters 2 Overview

Duck Hunters 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the original Duck Hunters from Nolimit City, released on 10 September 2026 (some operators had it exclusively from 3 September). This time the roles are reversed: the ducks have armed themselves with flamethrowers, and the redneck backwoods family is the one being hunted.

The game uses Pay Anywhere wins on a six-reel grid: you need 8 or more matching symbols anywhere in view. Winning symbols are removed with Cascading Reels, new symbols drop in, and every cleared position builds up a position multiplier that can reach x16,384 – twice the cap of the first game.

The default RTP is 96% (68.64% from the base game and 27.36% from the bonus rounds), and some casinos run the lower 94.05% or 92.01% versions. The hit frequency is 17.68%, the volatility is very high, and the max win is 40,000x the bet, with a probability of 1 in 88 million. Bets range from 0.20 to 100 per spin.

Theme and Graphics

The action moves from the trashy backyard of the first game into the deep woods. The reels stand between tall trees, with a wooden crate, a hunting rifle and a basket of duck eggs around them. The premium symbols are the five crazy characters of the family – Santa, Granny, Phil, the Gamer and the Fanboy – while the lower symbols are flamethrower ducks, flamethrowers, canned meat, walking duck eggs and slingshots.

Symbols and Paytable

The symbols pay for clusters of 8–9, 10–11 and 12 or more anywhere on the grid. For 8–9 symbols the values are small, between 0.1x and 0.3x the bet, while 12 or more pay between 1x and 6x, with the five characters at the top. The Wild has no value of its own. The real wins come from the position multipliers: one cluster on positions with high multipliers can pay many times more than the paytable value.

Cascades and Position Multipliers

When a win is paid, the winning symbols disappear and an x2 multiplier is placed on each of their positions. If that position is part of a win again, its multiplier doubles: x4, x8, x16 and so on, up to x16,384. Random multipliers can also appear on random positions at the start of each spin. The cascades continue as long as new wins appear.

Wild, xWays and Infectious xWays

The Wild replaces any normal paying symbol. The xWays symbol transforms into a regular paying symbol and increases its position multiplier by 2, 4 or 8 times. The Infectious xWays symbol goes further: the revealed symbol infects all the same symbols on the grid. If several xWays symbols land, they all reveal the same symbol.

Bomb Symbol

When no more wins remain, the Bomb explodes and removes itself and all symbols above it on its reel. Its own position multiplier grows by x2, the position above by x4, the next one by x8, and so on – so a Bomb at the bottom can boost a whole reel with x2 to x64. Bonus symbols are not affected.

Free Spins Bonus Rounds

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Bonus symbols triggers one of three bonus rounds:

• Duck Hunt Spins: 7 spins with 1 random upgrade,
• Hawk Eye Spins: 8 spins with 2 random upgrades,
• Big Game Spins: 10 spins with 3 upgrades.

Position multipliers are kept during the whole round, and every Extra +1 Shot symbol awards one more spin. The six possible upgrades are: Upgraded xWays (all xWays become Infectious), Upgraded Bomb (it clears the reel above and below, boosting multipliers in both directions), Extra +2 Shots, +2 Upgrades, Extra Multipliers (5 extra multipliers on the first spin) and +1 Spin at the start.

Bonus Buy and Nolimit Boosters

Where it is allowed, the menu offers two special bonus rounds: the xWays Juicer for 500x (7 spins with a guaranteed Infectious xWays on every spin) and the Bomb Juicer for 2,800x (7 spins with a guaranteed Upgraded Bomb on every spin).

The Nolimit Boosters change the next spin: Bonus Booster for 3x (a Bonus symbol on reel 2), Bonus Hunt for 30x (a Bonus symbol on the first spin and on every cascade), and the Day 8, Day 64, Day 512 and Day 2048 Spins for 10x, 90x, 800x and 4,000x, where every position starts with that multiplier.

xTra Spin and Side Hustle

With xTra, the game may offer to sell you one more spin at the end of a round that keeps all position multipliers, or a cheaper one with the multipliers halved. It only appears when the price is not higher than the previous win. The Side Hustle bets are optional extra bets that pay a fixed amount on top of your normal wins if a certain outcome happens. Several of them can be placed at the same time, and each one raises the cost of the spin:

• Kill Santa, Kill Granny, Kill Phil, Kill Gamer, Kill Fanboy and Kill Duck: pay if at least one of that symbol is removed,
• Max Multiplier: pays if any position reaches x16,384,
• Double Bonus: pays if at least 2 Bonus symbols land in the base game,
• Dead Spin: pays if the base game spin ends without a win.

What Is New Compared to the First Game

The core is the same as in the original Duck Hunters: Pay Anywhere wins, cascades and doubling position multipliers. The changes are in the details. The multiplier cap is now x16,384 instead of x8,192, the Bomb spreads doubling multipliers along a whole reel, and the bonus has three levels with up to 3 upgrades chosen from a list of 6, instead of 1 upgrade from 3. The xTra Spin and the Side Hustle bets are also new to the series.

RTP, Volatility and Max Win

According to Nolimit City, about 1 in 100 spins (984 per 100,000) pays 100x the bet or more, and the bonus round comes roughly once every 203 spins. The 40,000x cap is called Duck Man Returns: if the total win of a round goes above it, the round ends and 40,000x is paid. These numbers show a game with long dry runs and rare but very large hits, so a smaller stake and a bigger balance are a good idea.
